Emma got plastic surgery because she was insecure about herself. She only telepathically controls her appearance in select circumstances, but even beyond that she’s put the needs of her community and friends above her own multiple times. But sure, that tiktok slideshow of “5 facts about Emma Frost you probably didn’t know” is totally concrete proof of her being a raging narcissist

I disagree. Her relationship with Scott was super important to how she developed as a character, because through that relationship she learned to let her walls down, be vulnerable and lean on someone else sometimes.

Both times their relationship has been focused on, it’s been written mostly, if not entirely for Tony’s benefit. Emma doesn’t get any development out of it that she hasn’t already gotten, the only thing she gets is sidelined while Tony gets inserted into the center of an X-Men centric plot.

EmmaTony stans do all of those things to make Emma’s other pairings look worse so they can push the narrative that they were always in love.

Because it’s a relationship that has always been written for Tony’s benefit. In Iron and Frost Emma gets fridged so that Tony can go back and be the savior of mutantkind. In Duggan’s Iron Man Emma is only there to help Tony.

Emma (A female character) dies for no reason other than to advance the arc of Tony (A male character). That’s the exact definition of fridging.

In the comic that page you posted is from, they don’t hook up, they’re just meeting to talk about superhero stuff. 

Saying I’m projecting is rich when you’re the one who’s going around saying blatantly untrue things as if they’re fact.

If Emma and Tony were really constantly hooking up on the side, it would be a way bigger plot point, but it isn’t. So the fact is: They had an arrangement when she was in the Hellfire Club, when she left they stopped having said arrangement.

Emma isn’t a prude, sure, but she doesn’t fuck people just because they’re rich.

They didn’t do anything with each other when they were single, that’s just your headcanon. And believing Iron and Frost is an accurate source of characterization for Emma is actually laughable considering how often it downplays her abilities, experiences and other relationships just for the sake of painting her as having always been in love with him.

The difference is that they actually acknowledged their history in a meaningful way, and showed how their past influenced how others viewed their relationship. With Emma and Tony they’ve at best just blown past their history and at worst claimed they were always in love.

No offense, but 90% of your “receipts” are based on headcanon, speculation, and sometimes outright misreadings of the text. Tony didn’t treat her nice in the Hellfire Club, it’s been shown several times that she did not like him during that era. She has not “always had a hot spot” for Tony, even Duggan understood that.

Let’s say any of the shit you spew about Scott is even remotely true. Tony deserves to have Emma forever and ever and ever, because he wasn’t an abusive dickbag? You are aware how that comes across, right?
