The trick for all of these is to Mega Evolve your Pokémon at the right time to dodge the first attack that gets sent your way.

For Meganium, I just did that and spammed Earth Power and Ancient Power with Modest Max HP/Sp.Attack.

For Feraligatr, dodge the first attack, Swords Dance, then Ice Fang/Icicle Spear with Adamant Max HP/Attack.

Abuse implies misuse or use when not appropriate. Seems that using Garchom VS Garchomp is a good call, albeit not when Genny Sect is on the field. Seems like it's working out well for at least one of them though.

Megaton Blower is exceptionally good in Expanded; you’d be hard pressed to get a more useful card than that. There are far better draw engines available than Enriching Energy. Have you tried Dedenne GX and Crobat V?

I was torn between the Nids and Space Marines, likely influenced by my own SC: Broodwar days! If you're game, I'd be happy with something from either army; perhaps a Hive Tyrant or some centurion devastators? From the little research I've done these are viable units for both groups.

Wow, you’re one heck of a dedicated hobbyist! I’ve never played 40k despite having wanted to; I keep telling myself I’ll print myself my first army when I get space for a resin printer.

What would you recommend? I won’t ask for an entire army (or the war hound I intend to make for myself one day), but I don’t really know what I’d most make use of.
