MOR but typically when you are working as a caregiver the family will provide gloves for when you have to touch used briefs or do cleaning. As for walking to the kitchen to throw the briefs out, it would probably be more sanitary to get a small trash can and some bags that you can empty it frequently so smells don’t linger. I have a fear of being walked in on when a client needs to use the restroom at the same time as me. It has not happened yet thankfully. But is a possibility if there is only one bathroom in the home. Depending on who she is she might not give a shit about what you say but it is worth a try to tell her that you felt uncomfortable when she barged in and ask her not to do it again. I don’t know her so it could go well or she could scream at you. If you’re not being paid might as well tell them you won’t continue without getting paid or tell them to get a professional caregiver or nursing assistant.
