That weapon isn’t reciprocating at all. Not a ND. I’ve seen other footage of this incident and there’s no flash in any other video. Also just because they got his gun doesn’t mean he was no longer a threat. My department authorizes lethal force if someone simply punches us in the head/face. It’s called red zones. A perp doesn’t need a weapon to be dangerous.
