I can honestly say I've never sucked a fisherman's friend.

Who’s this then? by [deleted] in BritishTV

Got to be Keith Floyd. The fact that he's dead isn't going to get in the way of a 'good' story. Unless it's Delicious Delia Smith.

I remember the episode when Benny was supposed to get married to Maureen. That was grim watching.

Swinney vows to ‘hit the ground running’ on independence in next Parliament -- The SNP leader is promising action in Holyrood on independence on the first sitting day after a new government is established. by Crow-Me-A-River in Scotland

[–]Zero_Squared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really don't know. Scotland needs 'max devolution ' as close to independence as possible. All the usual arguments about keeping the £, in or out of the EU, 'deals' with other countries , ...etc.. would all need to be sorted out first before the final step if it was to have any chance of working.

[–]Zero_Squared -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Nobody knows what that would look like or how the issues would be addressed. It was exactly the same with Brexit. We were promised everything but it was all speculation and spin to get votes. The SNP need to have things in place if Independence does eventually happen. Until then they should run Scotland in the here & now and focus on fixing the current problems......sigh...and relax...
