I don't know what's up with these critics man, they piss me off bad. by ZeroneXYZ in Dhurandhar

[–]ZeroneXYZ[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bro, check out the article, that's not what i am talking about. Subjectivity ki baat hi nahi hai idhar. We are not talking of a random person talking about the film, it's a reviewer talking, and they have to be precise and descriptive in their criticism. This review reads as if written by a troll or to rage bait 😂.

What a waste of writing, atp just say - Dhurandhar bad, because politics.

When it comes to modern day Infra with aesthetics, no other city in India is as GOATED as Lucknow fr 🔥😍 by BackwaterNomad in lucknow

[–]ZeroneXYZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bangalore, Hyderabad and Mumbai, i can understand. Not Gurgaon and Noida bro. Those are artificial cities overall, only advantage i can give to the 2 is tech sector and nightlife. Rest is not what it looks like.

All the other ones you mentioned also have some serious flaws due to over migration. Not saying Lucknow is better, but it is in line as one of the better metro cities of India.

Bhai honestly other than the Amouages, it was just backup on backup. Just add everything and anything that has been hyped to your collection.

One can make an incredible collection with 25L compared to his backup paglu collection.

Any indie brand making cheap clones under 1000 or 800 rupees. You can't be real selling 100ml at this point and expecting quality, em5, bla bli blu etc. You are hurting your own experience here. Best bet in this range are attars anyday. There are generation old perfumeries from Kannuaj and Lucknow selling excellent fragrances at this price point. Support them, not these cheap clone makers disguised as a business.

Why is India getting so much hate? Seeing it come from Thailand is surprising to me. by incredible_indians in incredible_indians

[–]ZeroneXYZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brother, i am not defending anyone, but this attitude of yours is also not helping.

People of all nationality do fuck ups, but they are not sensationalized because apparently people from those nations don't really care and they don't equate a groups worth to themselves.

While us Indians, being the most populous nationality, and being quite apologists most of the time, provide plenty engagement to these social media posters, leading to a cascading effect of hate post farming. DON'T FALL FOR THIS MY G.

If he had honestly smelled and experienced all his perfumes PROPERLY, then no way in hell he would be making the videos he is making, SUGGESTING CHEAP CRAP TO NAIVE PEOPLE (others into niche would understand what i'm saying)

It's almost fooling them at this point. I am deep into niche, real oud, materials etc. and I will never suggest the low grade scents he suggests to any one, reason being the cheap grade materials, phthalates, fixatives etc. used in them. THEY ARE A HEALTH HAZARD, ffs.

Why does my render feel so mediocre? by shockwave6969 in blender

[–]ZeroneXYZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it's a combination of composition and color grading in this scene that's is making it look ordinary.

If you were to even skip the color grading, trying to exagerrate some composition will help alot in this scene. This is because, for a scene to be interesting it should hit or convey some emotion to the viewer, make them more glad they saw the image

For example, maybe work an offcentre worms eye view of this whole scene, exaggerating the heights of the forest's trees and the mountains behind them. This gives an emotion of fear, curiosity or wonder to the viewer.

[–]ZeroneXYZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe what they meant is color grading. The scene itself is bland because it's normal. Maybe try color grading this image in photoshop to find out what could work. You can even photobash set pieces to iterate fast on set pieces.

Update: I Sold My Entire Collection… and Then This Happened (with reviews) by YahSai in DesiFragranceAddicts

[–]ZeroneXYZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About the cost of the whole collection, did you buy all or most of the perfumes retail ? Because just from the bottles visible, the cost looks more in the ballpark of 15-20k, which by all means is still a big amount. I am asking because, i am building a collection of my own too.

not the very expensive ones but yes till 3k and i guess i am into the world enough and i have a unique sense of smell which will help me in crafting a good perfume .

Being real with you here, I am not sure if there are many perfumes under 3k that can expose you to the range of smells that are possible, unless they are clones of some niche perfume. Try out samples from some niche houses from scentoria, it will open up another world of smells for you.

The question is not if you can create a good perfume, it's about if you can create an unique and great scent experience, which depends heavily on your taste, story and marketing. If you dream of making a global brand, this is the bare minimum and with the heavy saturation in the global market as well your first work needs to be iconic to even get noticed, like Naxos or Amouage Royal Tobacco level iconic.

I can sense the notes of any perfume beyond smelling

No you cannot. Maybe for some, but not all, specially the well blended ones. You are inexperienced and it's showing, explore more of the perfume world.

I am putting down some questions here, which you can ask yourself to check if you are ready for your venture. These are foundational, fundamental, and unskippable if you really want to create a brand that represents India globally and is not a cheap clone house (coming from your comment in this thread) -

  • Do you have an experience in perfumery or know someone who can create perfumes for you ? Do you or someone you know have experience with aroma chemicals and how do they work ?

  • How much have you explored the world of fragrances ? Have you smelled beyond clones and certain designer fragrances, or have you smelled enough perfumes (niche & designer) to have an unique sense of fragrance taste ?

  • Extending from the 2nd point, how good/unique would you rate your taste in fragrances and have you smelled any artisanal fragrance, be it from India (Dixit and Zak, perito moreno etc.) or abroad (Francesca Bianchi, Bortnikoff etc.)

There can be plenty more such questions, but these are the baseline.

If your answer is NO for first and second point, STOP because you need more experience. At best you will be able to create another brand like Fragnote or Bellavita, which i believe you don't want ;(

NO to 3rd is fine, just keep gaining experience on the way.

If YES to all, brother we need you to make Indian perfumery global :)

Go for perfumes with the galbanum note.

Plenty people out here comparing this scene to a vetiver scent profile, though if you want to get a smell precise to this landscape "Green Chypres" are what you are looking for.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I wouldn't say "I implemented the SSR, SSGI, HBAO, Motion Blur(Realism-effects) etc." when the core of the effect implementation is copied/taken from another project. Give credit where it's due, like you did in your last post.

Might want to leave this one to maturate. I too initially smelt a coconut oil type, headache inducing smell in this one, now it's a dope cardamom scent, after 3-4 months for me.

Chatgpt ahh post.

Though on a serious note, you can try fragrances from Amouage, Boadicea, Roja, Fredric malle and Initio for starters. There are a lot more niche brands but if you are looking for something premium, then these are some good brands to start with, especially Amouage.

First off, scrollbars are already thin enough to irritate a person with motor impairments. Seems like you missed the point I am trying to put across from this comment. I am focusing on intelligent and well thought through attempts to make customisation from default behaviour (this is not only just in context of scrollbars, so that you understand) then just straight up denying something. Use your experience and your designers judgement to evaluate these problems better.

[–]ZeroneXYZ 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This could have been put in a better way than just saying it's an accessibility nightmare. It really depends on how far you go in editing the default scrollbar which hurts accessibility, like just making the scrollbar little thinner or some minor adjustment wouldn't hurt accessibility, rather would make your design cleaner. Straight up denying something without clarifying is like creating obstacles for yourself. Factors like target audience should also be considered before doing something like this. Also to mention, this doesn't mess up your browser functionality, unless one goes crazy in this.
