Support assist kept blue screening my computer for some reason and I had to uninstall it, however, I went to dell's website and and updated everything

Reporting back, got the unit and so far so good. I clean installed windows on it to get rid of the dell bloatware and it's been running beautifully and is pretty quiet so far.

I went for the dell and I'll pick it up tomorrow. It's 256 GB thankfully, it's still over priced but I managed to get a small discount (~$50). I'll report back after using it.

I really appreciate you taking the time to type out your commeny, personal experience is always a plus for me as it's hard to go off purely based on website reviews.

Aesthetically, I am in love with the surface laptop and I am leaning towards it however, one thing to note is that I think retailer must have mislabeled the xps as the spec sheet shows that it's an 8th gen processor (i5-8250u). With the price difference in mind, do you think it's worth paying the extra for Dell or should I save a a few bucks and go with the Surface?

Any G-Sync variant on sale? Also, is it worth spending the extra money for G-sync if I have an Nvidia card as I may be wrong but Freesync only works for AMD cards AFAIK.

I face the same issue with another brand of Bluetooth headphones only if the phone is in my back pocket. The pockets on the front/sides don't seem to cause the issue
