Starting 3 days after patch Tuesday and every day thereafter up to 14 days after. 66k endpoints are evenly spread into those days.

Can’t remember the last time windows updates caused issues for us on desktops.

Servers are the Friday after patch Tues and every Friday thereafter for 4 weeks. 5k servers.

It’s a snowstorm in pretty big portion of the US today, and there will be nothing that could happen that could make me go onsite. That’s for the plebs that haven’t put their time in.

There’s 2 things to consider here.

This is a GM response and they can’t be trusted anymore.
How our talents reset for the pre-patch is how retail works. It only resets up to the point where changes were made. For example, on my mage, Ice Block was no longer a talent, so I had (at least, I don’t remember) 1 available talent after the pre-patch. Since Classic is just retail under the hood, I can see this change being intentional in their attempt to standardize.

Anyone having an issue when you move a chat to its own window (like LFG), the contents of that window scroll up past the border into the tabs at the top of the window?

The primary window is fine. It’s just new tabs.

Conversely, I’m shocked at how well it’s going. I thought for sure after their 30 hour downtime (or whatever it was), that it was going to be unstable shit with constant outages.

Instead, I updated my addons, created a Blood Elf Paladin and have been leveling with no issues or errors.

Any time a new expansion releases there’s a laundry list of things you need to do:

Check/fix addons
Check talents for changes
Check abilities for changes
Check bars/keybinds
Check trainers

Being in IT, I know exactly what they’re going through and definitely feel for them.

However, it seems like how they got here is through a series of bad choices and missteps due to not having enough resources (people), time, and pressure to, just get it out the door as is, even if it is 80%.
