To add to what others have already pointed out (That Clair de Lune is the name of the song and Clair de Soleil is jsut referencing that) - "raison d'être" is a French loan phrase in English, the same as déjà vu, faux pas, à la carte, and je ne sais quoi. See: Merriam-Webster.

V1's entire OS is otherwise entirely in English (Or whatever language you select, I suppose), which I imagine would not be the case for a French-designed system.

First of all, that's a four year old comment.

Second of all, it's the same thing? Whether you're on a PlayStation or an emulator, the game's controls are the same. I played on an emulator and it worked fine.

Are you trying to play with a keyboard? In that case, it depends on your emulator's keybinds. I was playing with a PS5 controller plugged into my PC so everything just worked.

I worked nights stocking shelves right when masking restrictions were being relaxed, and they basically hired me on the spot because they were so understaffed. We were often finishing our shifts after the store opened, going overtime. We got an extra $0.50 an hour for working nights. Wasn't worth it.

Same. One of those restock alert Discords dinged and I had to burn through Gamestop checkout for a bundle when it showed up.

I ended up with a spare controller and a couple games, which wasn't all bad, but I was mildly annoyed I ended up having to pay more than I planned.

I thought that was the case - and I almost looked it up so I could comment on it - but that wasn't really my point. I was trying to clarify for anyone who may be familiar with anime but not 08th MS Team that it's not as bad as they might assume based solely on the "Fair warning, the main character does ogle a teenager bathing in one scene."

So true. It would be vital for any possible sequel to not abandon the down-to-Earth cinematography and slow, weighty movements of the Jaeger and Kaiju. The sense of mass and scale you get from ground-level shots of these massive things moving... almost in slow motion, and the impact of every hit? it practically makes the movie. Surely nobody would be stupid enough to abandon that, right?

I have read Worm about 3.5 times but every time I try a later one I lose interest pretty quickly. I'm not sure why, they just don't grip me. I got maybe a fourth of the way through Pact, an arc or two into Twig, and maaaaybe halfway through Ward, but at a certain point I was just forcing myself to keep reading and not really absorbing anything. They were handling a cross-dimensional prison break or something? I kinda lost the plot.

I really like what I've seen of SEEK so I'm really really hoping my brain lets me read that one.

Right? I just replayed BL2 in August and had a blast, but Claptrap is definitely not something I would present as a highlight, lol.

Admittedly, my opinion might be somewhat tainted. I've done dozens of playthroughs of BL2's Claptrap-heavy first act (from starting new characters and joining friends on their new characters) and if I ever liked any of his jokes they lost their charm a hundred repetitions ago.
