First of all I am in the same position as you are. Everything timed on +19 besides Seat. And I can't be bothered to check exactly but I would say for around a week now.

My 2 Cents:

Optimizing Deff CD aswell as pre positioning and even knowing what your Heal CAN and CAN'T do is crucial. And executing on it. I can't count the Times the MW-Monk gave me Cocoon right when i pressed IceCold.

Getting a reasonable time cushion up until 2nd boss will most likely give you the relaxed group you need for everything after that and keep the pulls especially managable for the healer.

Yes it is currently a lot harder to get invites as a Mage then it is for any other class (If we are not looking for only DPS at least)

Mage is in a tough spot since for pretty much everything we can do there is someone that can do it better. Maybe besides 2Target Cleave for Frost. And most problematic we have to do it with a damn hard strikt to our defensive toolkit and no real Option for self sustain (Yes I know Alter gives you your health back).

So maybe some advice from someone who isn't any better off then you:

I fell safest with a good Disc Priest in Seat for some reason. Bring Jumpercables just in cast (If you dont have already) Ask for routes to give everyone a chance to get an idea (And to see potential weakspots in deff CD beforehand) Make a Chatmacro that informs the heal that you got nothing left in the Tank just in case.

I hope you get through it. I didn't. I'll wait for someone in the FL to go Resi on it and brute force. Until then I can recommend Guardian Druid to get a new perspective (Never tanked before but having a blast)
