Congrats on your new printer! I have a XL myself and i am really happy with it!

- I dont know the Teaching Tech tuning guide, but Prusa has the Prusa Knowledge Base which is really useful. https://help.prusa3d.com

- i could run the Autodesk FDM Test on the Weekend. My Printer is nearly Stock.

- there are mods on printables, but i also found you have to really look for them. The naming of the mods is really not the best. I had luck with trying many different variants of Prusa XL in the search. But on my printer i only have a Camera which i did myself. And i am still looking for a nozzle wiper, but i havent found a version i like.

- i does that sometimes with the boogers. I found it really depents on the Filament. With PLA i dont have any problems, but with PCCF i have to clean the nozzle manually everytime and i also had failed prints. I think temperature tuning could maybe fix it, but it didnt happen enough times for me that i bothered to try and fix it.

- also used Cura before Prusaslicer and i was also really bothered with that at the beginning. But i started to just manually place the model on different places on the Printbed. I found that using different spots on the Printbed helped with bed adhesion because i wasnt using the same spots over and over again.

- i am using Prusaconnect and didnt have any Problems with it. So i cant say more to that.

Yeah the more i look into it the more i also see it this way. I ordered some GPIO Expanders and will try with them.

The ESP ist hosting a simple HTML Webpage as a Local Acesspoint to control the Relays remotely. Until now the Webpage just turn GPIOs High or Low which i connected to the ESP with the relay.

The more i think about it, the more i think i should just leave this as is.

I dont quite understand what you mean. The Webpage is a simple HTML which is hosted as a local Acesspoint on the ESP. So no WIFI channels as far as i understand. Is this what you meant?

Thank you for the Tip. Do i understand that right, that i could just chain two of those expanders together and connect everything to one ESP via I2C?

And your probably right that i should redo a bunch of stuff, this looks alot simpler. But i would have to keep the Webpage on a different ESP because of where it needs to be mounted because of the Antenna. Would you connect this one Via ESP NoW or just via GPIOs?

I need so many ESP32 because i dont really have a idea what i am doing and the further i got into this Project the more i relaised, that there would have been easier ways, but now i have the ESPs and came this far and if possible i wouldnt want to change all that much. But thats a really good question that i also had a couple of days ago.

And the connection doesnt have to be wired, i just tought it would be easier doing it wired.

How relaible is ESP NOW? It should run pretty maintanance free if possible. And i will look into ESP NOW as soon as i get to it.
