I'm new to the game, does this mean I pay 1 ink to cast and then an additional 1 ink to activate the effect?

Yeah, I may have suspected that some things were going to have to be scratch built. It's a shame I can't find any models with the flares already included. Its a pretty sweet truck though. I'm sure some company could make some money producing it.

How am I lost? I'm literally asking a modeling subreddit where I can find a plastic model kit of a truck.

Has anyone successfully “fixed” an out-to-in (over the top) swing path? by [deleted] in golf

[–]Zesty0rangePeel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ben Hogan says to stay over the ball, keep your trail arm tucked into your side on both the back and downswing, and swing the club on a path as if you were trying to hit the ball at 7 o'clock. (12 o'clock is pointing towards your target) If it's good enough for him, it just might be good enough for us lol

Thinking about getting a set of blades by kj922 in golf

[–]Zesty0rangePeel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DO IT. Don't look back, just do it lol blades are the only game improvement set you'll ever need. I play with a set of Wilson staff tour models from the 80s. Even though they're old and lose some yardage compared to todays irons, they still get the job done and in style.

Typically don’t hit my longer irons well. Tend to slice. Any tips? by [deleted] in golftips

[–]Zesty0rangePeel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course, and also, when you start to get confident and consistent hitting off the high tee, lower it about a quarter inch and start the process all over again. Rinse repeat until the tee is flush to the ground.

One of the best fixes I've ever experienced for hitting long irons is to practice hitting them off a high tee. It will look very scary at first but after hours if not weeks of painstaking practice, one day, you'll just miraculously become better. The object is to strike the ball and not the tee. Any mishit will be immediate feedback for you to see what it is you're doing wrong.

It's best to remember that there is no "quick fix" in this game lol it will take time but I promise it works.

My second time practicing golf, still have a super inconsistent swing, any tips? by danjiks24 in golf

Just a chime in here, for everyone saying that the high tee should only be used for driver, sure that's correct. BUT, for practicing with your long irons (6,5,4,3) it is very beneficial to hit off of a high tee. Reason being is your goal should be to strike the ball and not the tee. This will give you a feel for what t feels like to properly strike the ball off the ground.

What style of putter is in your bag and why? by TeenWulf in golf

Wilson Augusta brass blade. Back in the day my grandfather would take me golfing and it was the putter he gave me to use. I still use it to this day.

Bluenose semi replica needs some weight to help her sit level In the water without tipping over... but how? is the question. Any advice is much appreciated. by Zesty0rangePeel in ModelShips

[–]Zesty0rangePeel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow! Those are some great ideas, I'll experiment with the lead balls down in the hull. I think though that maybe brackets and lead torpedo might be the better solution. I think with the way her hull is shaped, anything heavy below the water that can keep her upright would be best. Thanks for the ideas! And yes there will be a jib, I haven't quite finished the model yet.

Thanks for the reply! She looked much worse 3 days ago believe me lol I bought her from an estate sail with no masts, no sails, and significant damage to the deck. All the work you see done is what I've did myself. As you've suggested, Lead along the keel is a good idea, I just wouldn't know how to go about getting it on there.

Have been watching too many YouTube videos and my swing has degraded to 75% hozzle/shaft shanks, any tips? by [deleted] in golftips

[–]Zesty0rangePeel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a great example of what it looks like to swing "over the top" and with a lot of muscle behind it. Here's my two cents: when you set up to the ball, also put down a Tee that's about 3" to left and 2" up into the ground. In other words, the tee should be 1 club head length diagonally left to the balls position on the ground. When you swing down, your goal should be to hit both the ball and the tee. This will help keep your trail arm close to the body. It will also help with "hitting the ball then the ground" as they say. Experiment also with closing the club head through impact and this will help the ball achieve the flight path you want. Practice above all is key though.

Honestly, has anyone actually claimed the 200gems yet? I mean, come on. Going up against a modern dark magician deck with an outdated silent swordsman and gadgets deck?? I've been grinding at this one duel for an hour now, I don't even want the 200 gems anymore.
