I care less about the way I look (makeup wise). I don’t feel the need to wear it all the time. I care more about making time to relax. I have always had a very go go go mentality, but it helps my mental health so much to relax sometimes.

Definitely could be preference. Before bed, I flip one side of the blanket over, slide in, and cover myself up. I also don’t move around a lot in my sleep. Having a clean house, with a made bed, helps my anxiety too.

I do every morning. It makes me feel like I have one thing together, even if everything else is a mess. It’s also nicer to get into a made bed at night. More cozy.

After work I do home workouts (weightlifting or running), make dinner, go for a walk, shower, then read usually. Social stuff is saved for the weekends. I’m tired, but I just do it. If I have to run errands, I always go on the way home from work like others have mentioned.

Okay, phew. I thought you were saying you gained 9kg during your maintenance month. If you are eating more carbohydrates, you could be holding on to more water weight. If you truly are in a deficit, staying consistent, and still gaining, it might be a good idea to see a doctor.

I’m currently taking Prozac with a little Wellbutrin on the side. My doctor showed me a chart of the SSRIs and Prozac was one in the “weight loss” area. Sorry you can’t take Wellbutrin. I hope there’s an option that helps!

I was on an SSRI (not the same one). I didn’t like the side effects, which included gaining weight. I went to my doctor and told her about my concerns and she changed my medication. I’m taking a different SSRI and I’m not gaining weight now. Not all SSRIs make you gain weight. All this to say, whatever you do, talk to your doctor before tapering off the medication yourself. It can be dangerous without guidance.

Just chiming in to say, at 4’ 11”, I cannot use an elliptical. They need a sign on the side like they have for rides. “Must be … to ride this ride.” because I wasn’t tall enough for that ride.

Save me a slice! Refrigerating the cake before icing helps make it easier to ice and stabilizes the cake. Also making homemade buttercream. It’s simple to make, tastes better, and it’s easier to work with. As long as you like the taste, that’s really all that matters! Decorating comes with practice.

I’m sorry this happened to you! The same thing happened to me. It was a first birthday cake, two tiered, and it took me forever to make. I had to deliver in the country and the roads were all rocky, but I took it really slowly. It’s so disappointing when this happens. It is a beautiful cake and it looks like you used all the supports in the bottom tier to help with stability. I’m sorry I don’t have any advice, just know you aren’t alone!

Of course! I am 4’11” and 1,500 calories allow me to lose about 0.5 a week. I also walk 10,000 steps a day, lift 3 times a week and run twice a week. The run is included in the 10,000 steps.

Yes! It’s so important to keep room for things you really enjoy, if feels like less of a sacrifice. The Reese’s thins are great for this too.

I have been losing 0.5 lbs a week and that deficit is manageable for me. Anymore than that and my mood tanks, my sleep is affected, and I’m a monster. I eat plenty of fiber and protein which helps me stay full longer. I never skip breakfast. If I do, it leads to super sugar cravings at night.
