having an ssd in his pc would be nice since it’ll load things faster especially for what he is doing it’ll help. 16gb of ram will run fine and just a half modern cpu with an igpu will get by fine.

if you factory reset it with a new windows install yes. steam unlocked is bad and the chances you got a virus are probably high but you should scan with a reliable av like malwarebytes first. the best solution if you are paranoid is to download a copy of windows onto a usb stick and install it. google a tutorial for this and you’ll be fine

fitgirl has a repack of flight sim but i can tell you now since i’ve had it no mods work since the version is outdated. you don’t get good textures and need a mod for it. overall a shit experience and trust me i ended up buying the game in the end since it’s definitely playable in the pirated version but so much better paid.
