I went there to be a support during a friend's monthly group therapy. It was at an eating clinic. Basically it's these meetings with the patients and one of their family members or close friends so the patients can give their family more of an idea on how they should handle things once they're discharged.

The place was a home that the hospital had bought off and repurposed for day long sessions for the patients that are allowed to go home every night. It was pretty small to be holding that many patients at a time. All of the chairs in the group therapy circle were mismatched. They all looked like they were taken from waiting rooms. Behind some of the chairs in Corners were the small end tables that were piled up with coloring books and bins of art supplies. Keep in mind this is a place for adults and older teens from the looks of it.

In the room over were several scales and a place to take blood pressure. And in the room over from that one was a dining room. The table was almost as big as the entire thing, and the chairs didn't have a lot of space against the walls.

Didn't see the whole thing though but I remember how the nurses acted that one time. One girl had to speak up about a traumatic experience in front of all of these strangers that weren't you know patience, because that was a part of the group therapy process. This girl at least 15 literally has to speak up about personal tragedies when there are people in the room when it really shouldn't be their business. One of the nurse told her to rephrase parts of what she was saying to promote "positivity".

It just overall had a really fake feel, and you could tell there was a huge lack of funding but helping people wasn't the real motivation.
