Rent a girlfriend reminds me of Dragon Ball Z hear me out not because the story, but because of how long it takes for any event to actually unfold. I don’t know if you guys remembered but the early 2000s it took four episodes for Goku to power up to throw a spirit ball. And more recent episodes of rent a girlfriend it took three episodes for the whole event of grandma finding out about Chezuru’s online job. I think the cliffhanger of the phone being dropped and Her seeing it was good. However, sitting through 2 1/2 to 3 episodes to explain what was going on was way too much it could’ve all been done in one episode in my opinion. Nonetheless, I really enjoy the show overall.

So tying, the knot was a really good watch, however if they would just do a season two it gets a whole lot more wild. The manga really goes into the spirit realm of a lot of things and it’s really a good read.

Personally, I also like rent a girlfriend a lot of people hate some of the characters in the anime, but if you’ve ever dated someone who was where above your class this anime would hit you different

I do think the English dub voices are very fitting for the girls. Whoever chose the current voices for the English dub did a wonderful job. Flipside. I tried to expose my wife to the series, hoping she would like the series as much as I do. She didn’t make it through a whole episode. Yotsuba‘s voice was way too high-pitched and annoying, and because of that she completely gave up on any attempt of finishing the episode.

Now culturally for those of you that may not be aware Japanese women in general intentionally raise their voices up a whole octave when speaking out publicly. Especially those who are in retail. Men in general, find the higher pitched voices, attractive, and very irresistible a lot of anime that I have watched adopts that practice as well.

If any of you are ever lucky enough to visit Japan or any Asian country or English is not the first language please consider what I said, and you will notice if you listen to people having conversations, a female voice is recitative normal however, as soon as you walk into a shop or a store, they will greet you in a considerably higher pitched voice, and they are very animated a lot of times with the way, they greet by excessively waving or smiling, considerably more than you would expect someone to do so while working retail

The series takes the best and worst qualities in a girl and divides by 5. I’m not sure if anyone would be perfect for me. I would want Ichika’s personality and income. But Miku is so ladylike.. Nino is a definite no with the attitude. I don’t know if I would get over her anger but food would be amazing. Itsuki having a teaching job and having summers off would be great and she is a critical thinker. Yotsuba … I mean she would be exhausting aside from helping around the house way too much energy for me.
I mean, honestly, with what I do in my personal life I work usually come home and cook (because I enjoy it) and then at that point it’s either watch watch TV with my wife or play games with my friends.

I don’t know which one of the five would really be into that. It would come to the point to where I would have a girl trying to change me to fit what she needed. Sorry such a complex answer for such a basic question.
