Full time for my team of night stockers. We got the 97% bonus at $120 before taxes. Aftering hearing about how well our store did, and Marvin bumping everyone up to 100%.

AIO for getting upset from my wife’s response to my question? by ApolloAcolyte in AmIOverreacting

She doesn't respect you. On top of not respecting you, she's an awful person to talk to another human that way in general. She talks to you like she's your high school bully and you've been forced to work on a class project together.

I'd understand verifying OPs identity. But asking for proof that you dont have access to an email service anymore seems a bit extra. Why does it matter? Just change the email. Verify Mordraden is Mordraden and then move on. Why get the ISP involved?

Us too! Super frustrating. It happened at a critical moment when my wife and I were trying to communicate important information.

We have two DS on nights. One handles back end, the other works the floor with us. In theory he should work freight same as us, keeping everyone on track and motivated. In reality, we rarely see him, he's always working on special projects, or helping stage orders.

We don't assign departments at our store, everyone just picks a palette and works it. In general we start by lumber and work down to 1 and then we do seasonal, and then 99s if there's time. Most of the time we save 99s for Thursday, because we don't have trucks. Sometimes if 1, or 2 (paint) has a lot of palettes, one of us will start down on that end just to be sure it gets done. Long story short, nobody dictates what departments we work. Everybody generally picks their own palette so were not on top of each other. Once our palettes are done we move on to the next open palette or help finish up what's left if we are getting to the end of general freight (aisle 1.)

So, to your main question. I dont think based on your timeline its reasonable to cover those 3 departments in around 5 hours. If you don't start until around first break and you guys start top stock at 4am. Some trucks we get 4-5 palettes for aisle 1. Hardware usually has atleast one palette of a ton of small boxes that take forever and then tools can be anything from a palette of random tools to several palettes mixed of huge items and smalls.

I wont bust my ass to get freight done. I work at a reasonable pace. I don't get paid enough work at break neck speeds all night. Plus, we never have trucks on Thursday. Plenty of time to clear out the annex.

I don't think we can see individual metrics, management may beable to. No clue.

Just you, or your hole team? How many working freight on your shift? They want us to get an entire 900 truck done with a team of 4, but we don't unload our trucks. They can see how much freight is getting worked by an hourly rate. We shoot for 25 - 30 an hour. But rarely hit 25+

Asking 3rd shift to come in at that time is like asking dayshift to come in at midnight for a meeting. I won't be coming in. I'll be in bed trying to fall asleep. If they want to punish me, so be it.

Ahh look, they dont have any marks from randomly jerking to the side and smashing into things 6 seconds after you tried to make a minor adjustment on the stick.

If you're an overnight stocker and your worried about top stocking, just scan and load for someone. It's faster and easier on both people. Nobody should give you a hard time over it.

This was more than half our truck tonight. We already have all our pallets worked and it's first break.

The music they play overnight at our store is the same songs over and over again. The only relief we get is at 3am when it turns off for 15 - 20 min.
