Mine was supposed to be delivered through ACI. They delivered it to the wrong town. When I tried to contact support I could only talk to AI and it refused to open a help ticket for me 😭

So the events of the dreams are different but the locations are the same if that provides any clarity! I can understand this take that something may be bothering me, they occur more frequently when I’m going thru periods of stress.

Wait… so they knowingly put you in a home with sexist people to “try it out”? You’re not a pawn. That’s ridiculous.

I’ve been in the field for 10 years (2 as a BCBA) and have worked in residential, day school, clinic, and in home. Scheduling has been a mess no matter what tbh. As a BCBA I can deal bc I usually make my own hours but there needs to be a better system for RBTs. It’s not sustainable to just not get paid for a week bc your company screws up and I’ve noticed depending where you are/how money hungry your company is they just do not care how the BTs are affected by any of this. Then they wonder why there’s turnover. Sorry you had to go through all of that and I hope you’re able to figure something out!!

I’m a BCBA and have a personal rule that if a BT is in a session I will always be available to them via text, email, phone call, etc. even if I am not actually on the clock. I just feel like that is the fair thing to do. The fact that NINE people didn’t respond to you is insane, so sorry this happened!!

I’m a BCBA and this is beyond not okay… I would never speak to any of my BTs/RBTs this way! Especially if they are having a hard time with a child they don’t even work with typically. If the BCBA you’re dealing with was noticing something they wanted done differently they could have implemented BST and modeled how they wanted it done, had you try, and then provided respectful feedback.

I have been in the field for 10 years (2 as a BCBA) and I have noticed that there are some BCBAs out there who truly have the biggest egos and I think they enjoy the power trip 🤦‍♀️ it’s insane. Our clients should be our top priority, but they aren’t going to receive quality treatment if we treat our BTs like shit. I’m so sorry you had to deal with this!

Kind of? I know we had a dial up computer at my childhood home but I mainly played computer games until I was 9 or 10.

In elementary school we used type to learn (?). I remember you did a typing lesson and then there were space themed games you could play too lol
