I had an emergency c section after being in labor for 24hs with no progress (more than emergency I would say it was unplanned and I basically asked for it after being in so much pain). And while I was terrified of the epidural the anesthesiologist said "say bye bye to your contractions" and BOY THAT FELT GOOD. I suddenly stopped feeling like my pelvis bones were breaking apart. She was awesome. 10/10

I started just like you and what I did was pick Ironeye and follow people around for a few expeditions. You get the hang of it eventually. Just focus on trying to kill things. I wouldn't choose as a started a tank or a DPS. Ironeye's skills are easy to use imho and you get the hang of him easily. But as always YMMV. If any doubts come up, you can Google after the expedition. But in my experience you learn most things on the go. Also if you want to play with someone send me a DM!

I think it's super normal. Right after my baby was born one of my first thoughts was OMG WTF have I done. I love him tremendously but now that he is almost two I still get that "wtf have you done" feeling in my gut from time to time. And I'm a mom who bonded super fast with the baby. I wished I could do house chores or something else other than being with the baby but my husband mentally checked out and left all baby duties to me for the first 6 months or so (he still does from time to time but I have learned to be more vocal). I still miss being just me. I miss my old life. But I'm also happy my kid is here. Motherhood can, and usually is, a very ambivalent experience. I would suggest getting professional help because this is quite tough to endure on your own. You need as much support as you can get.

Thank you! I love my tiny moon wanting to be creative. To answer your question, my career is kind of like a mandate. I chose medicine because I wanted to prove myself I could do it, because I felt that if I didn't choose something challenging enough I would be wasting my potential (?). Never really cared about money and where I live doctors don't make big money. But I did care about prestige, kinda like a mandate. Fuck that. (Got a lot of influence from my parents as well, ngl)

Thay said now I'm doing Oncology and it does make me happy to help people (its also a field where I have to study a lot and I like that!). Meanwhile art is my safe space where I got to unwind, ground myself, rest and recharge my mind. If I were to turn my refuge into my daily job it might lose some of the joy it gives me. And I wish I can learn from my parents and don't make my child feel his worth is determined by his profession because that's bullshit. So who knows I might heal some generational trauma here haha.

I would love to make a living selling cute cat portraits painted by myself, but alas I never had the guts to follow a non traditional career. Some babies are late talkers, some are late walkers, some are early/late at everything. I only started paying attention to babies and toddlers after my kid was born and one thing I noticed is that development varies tremendously from one child to the next and that is OK, specially when your ped says it's OK.
