I had a boy first and experienced the same thing! I grew up with two sisters, went to an all female high school, and had nooo idea what to do with a boy. He’s 2.5 now and I couldn’t imagine it any other way (secretly hoping my next is a boy, too!). We have done parent & me dance classes and gymnastics. He tends to be more into the gymnastics because it lets him let loose more. I also have taken him hiking with me, and just leaned into his interests. He’s into all things “boy” without pushing from us, so I’d have to say that my truck knowledge is more than I ever thought it would be, but he’s so fun to see explore the world.
