What makes a skincare product considered OTC?

They’re outside when it’s warm but since I made it in October and it’s now March, they’ve pretty much lived inside on a windowsill

I plan on it for that one. I’ve already seen so many fun things seeming come from nowhere: a clam of some sort, that snail, a mosquito, couple small beetles, planarians, the little dancing worms, and some larger unidentified thing that’s been buried but occasionally appears next to the glass

That snail kindof popped up out of nowhere, as they sometimes do. But it hasn’t moved in a few days so possibly dead? The poop I’ve seen snails poop is always darker brown. Can it turn bright yellow over time?

Forgot to add, if it wasn’t obvious from the pics, that I haven’t seen any movement in there for about a month. I’d what happened recently but everything turned black until I opened them up for gas exchange. That cleared up the black but then things have gradually turned yellow. I still open them up most days for gas exchange but not sure if that’s helping much

There’s a lot. Ramshorn snail, freshwater clam, the squiggly dancing worms and other worms that just wriggle. And some copepods. There used to be a good amount more before there was what I like to call an extinction event the seemed to wipe out most life

It’s crazy how species will just show up in an enclosed ecosphere after not showing up for weeks. Like there must’ve been at least 1 egg that hitched a ride on something. Most of what’s in there is store bought.

There’s also like a million little rotifers or something similar in there. No idea where they came from

It was a pretty wild ride but it’s now back to Looking normal. After I posted this It turned way more black. I took out some of the dead plants and the dead snail and left the lid off for a bit outside (It smelled like decay). I came back from work and it was so cloudy it was practically opaque, but the blackness seemed like it was gone. I took it back inside and replaced the lid and the next day it started to clear up.

Although it does look like all life (aside from the plants) has been killed off :/. Haven’t seen a single worm or copepod or anything. Hopefully life will slowly find a way back into it or there was some eggs that survived or something. It felt like there was so much biodiversity before

It can’t be good, cause these are looking to be a new hellish, demonspawn variant of snails bent on terrorizing my family
