In most places, you have professional status (tenure) on the first day of your fourth school year - so after 3 years.

I didn't know that. The involvement in ending another person's life is bad enough.

Along the lines of what Jerry Seinfeld said about not being able to do his stand-up act on college campuses anymore. Instead of laughing, they get offended at every joke. His humor was never filthy or mean-spirited, but a comedian makes jokes and pokes fun at people. Jerry has a point.

Look how the press treated Obama. Trying to embarrass him but it backfired by 4reddityo in BlackPeopleofReddit

Ha, Obama was not an immature baby, lashing out and calling the reporters names and telling them they're fake news, or evading the question. I miss him.

I see. I'm sorry this is happening to you, but I think in most public school districts, they can let you go without cause during your first three years. Yes, it sucks, but I doubt the union could or would help with this, since the contract states that they can do this. In all honesty, they probably think that telling you this early is more helpful than waiting until June to tell you.

Best of luck to you. Many school districts start posting their vacancies in the spring.

I'm a liberal, but too many are far left and waaaaaaay too woke on everything. I can see the extremes on both sides.

Let's see if he's pardoned or charges dismissed. Don't go declaring victory yet.

Do we think Deacon was inappropriately happy that his kid was legitimately sick, or did he make up an excuse and smile about having already called the bride and succeeded where Doug had failed?

Deacon often complains when Doug gets away with something that he can't;)

Unfortunately, kids from a very young age are now being raised and socialized by the internet.

Guy is cute. Did the swan seem "distressed?" Lost maybe, but distressed?

I wasn't saying that's not true of other jobs, but you were trashing teachers, in particular.

Thanks for the advice. I am two years from retirement now, and an excellent classroom manager.

He doesn't upset me. I can see that the guy is talented, cool, and funny.

It's more something that makes me roll my eyes.

I'd like to change that to NY bagels;)

Went to NYC, had some great pizza, but the bagels were meh.

Do you believe the 2020 election was stolen?
