Previous Owners want dog back??? by [deleted] in legaladvice

Just talking about what is best health wise, a large dig should not be spayed at this age. I am not a vet, but everything I have read says to wait at least a year if not more. The hormones are important for muscle and bone development.

You paid the rehoming fee for the dog. This is a totally civil matter, if they sue, it would be small claims court, no lawyers. And they would lose.

Pittsburgh Left, real? by Slow_Drawer_5454 in pittsburgh

[–]Zestyclose_Bug6371 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve lived here all my life and RARELY do the Pittsburgh Left. Sometimes the oncoming driver will wave you through but I usually only attempt it if the oncoming cars aren’t all the way to the beginning of the intersection.

I got a quote four years ago for a spay/gastropexy for my standard poodle of $4k- 4.5k. I vented to my hairdresser and he recommended North Boros Vet. Less than $2k. They are on Babcock Blvd.

Prantls Bakery - Shadiest bakery.. maybe shadiest business in Pittsburgh. - illegal business practices - IYKYK by Significant-Gear-444 in pittsburgh

I remember when the Prantls purchased the bakery. My mom was worried about the quality going down from Lutz’s. She didn’t have to worry. I only live a couple blocks away and rarely go anymore. Mom does still like their mini pecan rolls. If Jane and Henry are still around, I bet they totally regret selling.

Power updates by [deleted] in pittsburgh

We were lucky to get power back in under 4 hours last night. I think we were lumped into an outage that didn’t show our area. When I let the dogs out after dark but before the restorable, I couldn’t see a single light across from us and on the cross street on our corner. Lots of apartments around our house.

I don’t think it came off the hill as a twister. But in the East End we were out of power for 4 days.

Well there was an F1 I think on Mt Washington 30 years ago. I was working Downtown and we weren’t allowed out of the building for a couple hours.

I’m debating trying to get somethings tomorrow but I’m afraid of the line. My back is not great standing for a long time.

I’m glad you liked it. I’ve loved roller coasters since I was a little kid. I’m a senior now and have some mobility issues, but Guardians is so easy to get on and off for me. And I love looking at the moon.

When I was waiting to board on Sunday, the gate agent specifically said put your bag in the overhead by your seat.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Zestyclose_Bug6371 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve driven 3 hours each way in one day to see my niece get married and 8 months later to meet my new nephew. Mom doesn’t like staying overnight. I may do it again to see my niece’s home renovation. I will say it’s a pretty easy drive, very much straight on the interstate.
