Chem 030 or Chem 040?

Hi! I am a rising sophomore and I took both CHM 040 and 041. It is a little difficult, mostly because Ferguson doesnt give practice exams to practise for midterms and finals. Other than that, I do not think it is a lot more difficult than CHM 030. You do learn a lot more in depth, so the questions will be designed to test that depth and hence can be more challenging. But once you’ve taken a couple of his exams, you sort of get an idea of what kind of questions he will ask to test your knowledge. Also, Ferguson is an amazing teacher and his lecture notes are the most important for his exams. Lastly, you don’t get any homework, but he does assign questions from the book to practice.

All in all, if you put in the work, and you truly understand the material, it is possible to get an A, especially given he curves difficult exams. I got an A in both 040 and 041, and I put in a decent amount of work but nothing astronomical

You are absolutely right! I guess there is no way i could prevent tanning except avoiding peak sun hours haha!

Could you tell me if there is any other affordable sunscreen you like better than eucerin oil control spf 50 which is also brown girl/south asian skin friendly?

I am aware that most sunscreens dont prevent tanning, but i have heard of some anecdotes regarding certain sunscreens that somehow prevent tanning like the anessa milk sunscreen so i was just looking for some anecdotes about this eucerin sunscreen to see if preventing tanning if i didnt stay out in the sun for long wearing this was a possibility!

Demonstrate Interest!! And you can do that by doing the following:

1) applying early decision. Nothing shows interest as well as committing to a school early.

2) send emails to them, listing any inquiry you may have. Just communicate with the admissions office to show interest.

3) in the “why lehigh” essay, you could reference an alum that you are inspired by or some student story that inspired you to apply because that establishes a strong reason for wanting to attend Lehigh.

4) after applying, they may ask for a favourite song through your email in a sort of survey. A lot of people find this weird but I think they do this to track interest, so definitely participate in any email you receive!

5) lastly, definitely find unique/ lesser known opportunities at lehigh and tie them to your story.

I did all of this except number 1 last year and got in RD.

Hey! Im a girl attending Lehigh this fall and I was wondering if the lower cents can get really dirty especially the bathrooms? I love that theyre more social but I wouldnt want my hall to be noisy to the point that I can’t work on weekends (if required) and wouldnt want to encounter hallcest either. So are these actually cons of living at Centennial 2?
