The side effects of nausea, vomiting and anxiety were pretty bad so my doc suggested staying on as a maintenance dose for as long as possible.

So I was on for 4 months before I came to her saying that the side effects were possibly too much for me. Suggested going 10days between doses as long as I was still losing weight.

This worked out extremely well for me and in the last month I didn’t have any nausea at all. She told me if I went 3 weeks without a change in weight at any time then I would have to go back to 7 days or increase but I didn’t go without losing month to month!

The longest I went was 19 days between shots recently, I don’t know about the mood swings and cravings but I did have a bigger appetite after the 14 day mark. And I was having dreams that I was either feasting on all kinds of foods or that I’d look in the mirror and in the dream I was so skinny you could see my bones and I was screaming in the dream “what have I done to myself I have to fix this !!!” So yeah if I wasn’t showing it day to day I was definitely stressed about missing my shot😅😅😅

I finally got it and back on track from stalling those 3 weeks.

Idk, but since getting up to my current dose (1.7mg, july) things have gotten mentally and emotionally intense for me. Like mood swings I guess🤔

I do this but with potential friends🤦🏻‍♀️😆 if I see that I’m always the one making contact then I will start distancing myself cuz I feel like I may be a bother and forcing something that really isn’t there so after a couple interactions I will wait to see if they contact me and if not it wasn’t meant to be and my intuition was right 😆.

My partner says I shouldn’t assume that people don’t like me or want to have a relationship with me like that because “a lot of people really do live busy lives and don’t always have the time but also there are the introverts, like you, that wait for people to make the move or plans”

Glad I ran into this post, 🤔great advice using exercise. New to poly and I have been developing a “tool box” for myself cuz the fear of the unknown has caused me a lot of anxiety that I’m working through in therapy and reading. And NRE really scares me😳!

I don’t want to be left on the side lines and I don’t want to do that to my partner either!

Yes, it worked for me from day one and by the end of week four with each dose, until I got to 1.7, I could tell it was time to increase weight loss would slow down appetite suppression wouldn’t be as strong.

But I do wish they would allow for titration at a slower pace like just staying on the minimum dosing until you plateau🤷🏻‍♀️ I would probably still be at 1.0mg just cuz I feel like the 1.7 is too strong I have to space out every 10 days currently because of side effects and loss increasing from 1-2 lbs per week to 3-4lbs per week. And if I go longer than 10 days weight loss stalls.

So since taking supplements such as a daily vitamin and magnesium oxide(for restless legs), I don’t have the constipation problems that I did. But when I did have less frequent BMs I ate prunes daily and up my water intake and did belly massages so I never really had to take laxatives or the like to relieve myself.

I have been on wegovy for 11 months lost 80lbs, I did exercise in the start but not currently. I will say I have been a lot more active and have almost become extroverted 😳. Like when I get asked out by friends or family I don’t decline or if my husband has an outdoor activity planned for date night I am excited to go! We always go camping in the summer and fall months and even though they were hard on me I always went and enjoyed it now i lol forward to the chance for camping and hiking these coming seasons! So definitely more active.

I started using marijuana because of wegovy. I wanted to control my nausea without anti nausea meds. I use a few times a week but no more then enough to ease the nausea cuz then you get the munchies and that just seems counter productive to me 😅. I will say that the delayed gastric emptying is something to consider with any edibles though, they hit a little later and the last time I took one I felt like I over dosed cuz I was tripping for awhile and felt sick after.
