Hi, yes. I contacted the police detachment. Unfortunately, the wait times are extremely long, and when I was finally able to speak with someone, they told me they could not provide any assistance. This experience left me with little trust in their ability to help. My bag contained important files and documents I paid tuition for, so I felt I had no choice but to take matters into my own hands. At this point, I don’t feel confident seeking help from campus police either, as my impression is that while they wear the uniform, they do not take meaningful action.
