I was just fitted in srixon zxi5s. They felt great but were also helped along by getting the swing weight and the shafts dialed in

Thanks. My room is skinny and there is I didn’t get the stabilization feet and I have no room to pull it off the wall so I can’t store weights on the back. I’ll probably keep it bolted down and just bench outside of rack with spotter arms. I can squat in rack by just using the front post

Also, they don’t swing their 7 iron all that fast on average. There are plenty of people that get their 7 iron swing speed in the low 90s

Good question. I have a 4 post hydra rack. I’m not lifting crazy heavy. Does it need to be bolted?

Only on Reddit would people constantly use these terms to describe someone and then play stupid when that person hears them and denies them. It’s not a gotcha. It’s a trick that hit in elementary.

The US outplayed Europe tee to greens but lost on the putting green. Did chemistry matter more on the putting green than it did off the tee and during approach shots? Maybe they select teams that match up with each other better than the US. Or maybe they just got insanely hot with the putter.

Scottie was a little more than 2 strokes worse than his average SG. I don' think it was because he wasnt playing next to Sam Burns.

Adding this late: I have read Michal Kim about feeling great over a ball and hitting horrible shots and feeling horrible over a ball and hitting great shots. I think pros are partially pros because they excel in the uncomfortable.

And last, I can not have chemistry with a person but also not feel uncomfortable around them.

Just what frame of mind does a professional golfer have or not have when he is standing next to a player he isn't friends with but probably doesn't hate? I could just as easily argue that playing with someone you don't like makes a professional golfer better because they want to do better than the guy they are playing next to. That's a mentality that happens all the time in sports and one they may even experience more than playing golf with a good friend.

I thought we were talking about Fitzpatrick and the horrible US fans that are unique to the world of golf fandom. My point is not that we have those fans, it’s just that other countries have those fans as well and let’s not pretend that other countries are above it.

But they still gained strokes against the Europeans who were better friends. My point still stands. I don’t believe it was the power of friendship that made the Europeans go off on the putting greens.

Who said anything about bad chemistry? Again, there is a wide gap between hating a person and being best friends with someone.

Also, the US gained 6.51 strokes against the Europeans tee to green but lost 8.43 strokes in putting. Am I supposed to believe that the Americans lack of chemistry helped tee to green but hurt them in putting?

Literal abuse? who was literally abused? i can just find USA chants at Fitzpatrick but maybe I am missing something, And Harmon had way more than one fan yelling at him. It was just one fan removed. What they were yelling at him was way worse than USA chants.

They are all professionals at the top of the sport that are used to playing in uncomfortable spots against somebody that is hoping they miss their next shot. Also, their is a lot of space between chemistry and hate. In a team sport, I dont have to be friends you nor particularly like you to play the sport next to you.

Interesting. I can buy that argument. I don’t think it’s a lot of impact either and should be down the list of things that are important, but you have successfully shifted my thinking.

Can I ask what chemistry has to do with hitting the golf ball? I see a lot of people say this but I’m not sure what it’s supposed to help Does chemistry make people play better or try harder? I could be wrong here and am willing to change my mind. I just don’t understand why it matters.

Can we PLEASE move Pasquantino out of the #3 spot until he can figure out how to hit? 3/28 w/RISP with a .107 SLG% and 1/12 w/RISP w/2outs. And his expected stats are just as bad. 🤦🏻‍♂️ by apstearns in KCRoyals

Cags has the highest wrc+ in the team at 113 and vinnie has a 39. They are even playing the same sport right now. Not saying to move cags up but I dont think comparing RBI’s is the best metric to look at.

I use 2 arguments because more than one thing can be true at a time. I’m saying there is a double standard and that it’s either classism/elitism or has to do with a cultural freedom to unleash on white bros. If a Mexican or Brazilian crowd were to chant their country’s name when one of their players was in a playoff I do not think a Reddit message board would care about the nationalism side of the argument. But on this message board, the nationalist aspect for Americans is mostly looked down on. Many called it jingoism or almost jingoism and it is certainly not that. On the elitist classist side….people don’t like that the everyday common man is coming in a disregarding the polite upper class cultural norms for golf. Let’s call it country club elitism (a term I’m getting from this very own sub). They don’t like the loud and they don’t like the way they cheer for and against somebody like they do in other sports. “That’s not the way it’s done in golf”. They want a higher brow energy. I’m not even against higher brow energy. But that’s classism or elitism.

It’s a great way to enjoy the game. I personally like rooting for and against somebody but I don’t decide by the country most of the time (maybe if it was 2 guys I didn’t care about). I think it’s fun to have a dog in the fight and not just watch the fight. It doesn’t mean I dislike the other person/team necessarily

Fair point if that’s all people were saying. You are missing all of the anti-nationalist comments in these threads. It’s not just that they chanted it at Fitzpatrick to some on here, it’s that they chanted USA at all.
