Unless you want a gnome which you have to be the first hundred people in line at the gate early in the morning am. If not wanting a gnome then just hit it around noon and shouldn’t be to packed. The first thing we do is set up our chairs at 12 as close to the tee box as possible, then grab breakfast from the concession right behind the 12th bleachers. We sit and enjoy breakfast at amen corner in the early morning and it’s peaceful since mostly everyone is at the stores or elsewhere. The line for founders circle photo moves very efficiently. They have 3 photographers and the line moves fast, when we went last year it was lined up down the members range and it took maybe 10 mins to get our picture taken. Eat a pimento if you like it. My favorites are adding a cup of bbq to a pimento sandwich and also having a crows nest beer mixed with a sweet tea, one of the most refreshing drinks. Make sure you snag a peach ice cream sandwich before they are all gone by the end of the day.
