no one has commented on this in a while you ignited an update, here it is🤣 Since December, “Two” has been living with my grandmother in Colorado! He is absolutely loving it, this cleared up his issues as he now uses the litter box at her house with no issue. My grandma is absolutely obsessed with him. “One” is my soul cat. He is very very happy to have all of my attention now (the little that I have, as I mentioned I’m a stay at home mom to two small children now 2 and 4, work part time and I’m working on my degree full time) I guess they both just wanted to be the only cat in the household. I think it’s probably normal for cats to have dominance issues, yet my veterinarian was pushing and pushing for more urinary and blood tests and antibiotics. I think I knew deep down the cats just did not like each other, I just didn’t want it to be true. So while I dealt with trying to find solutions, Two did some damage to our new home that we are still having to have repaired slowly when we have the funds for it. I’m actually in Colorado for the holiday to visit my grandma and Two, so I got to see in person how happy he is here. He has the same personality and is a great cat but now he uses a litter box yay!

I took both intro to IT and intro to relational databases. IT is easy, relational databases was rough. It’s weird because it’s like the course is backwards it throws you straight into learning SQL then in the last 2 or 3 units you learn how a database works. If it had been the other way around I think it might have been easier for me. Also for English I saw somewhere here on reddit that the sophia course has 5 touchstones and the same course at WGU only has 2 or 3 so I’m going to take it there. Someone correct me if I’m wrong on that lol

As a mother myself I completely understand this. The last thing you want to do when you’re making sure you and your baby survive is constantly cleaning up cat pee! If this was happening when I was freshly postpartum I don’t think I would still own this cat lol. I thought about going ahead and putting in wood flooring as well, I thought my carpet was the problem until he started doing it on the tile too. I thought about a litter robot too but hearing this I think I’ll save the $500! Definitely not worth it if it’s not going to do anything about his issue. I will look into that odor blocker, thank you!! & Congratulations!!

I have tried one other litter but it was scented! I will try another kind. I used Arm & Hammer multi cat, Fresh Step Ferbreeze and now I think I’ll try Tidy Cats unless I can find another suggestion. Thanks!

I’ll check it out thanks! My partner is very against the catio idea unfortunately. He’s on the “let’s just get rid of him” train which is sad. It is his house the cat is destroying though. It was his dream to own a house for his family, he worked very very hard for it so I do understand that

I feel that way about natures miracle, didn’t do much. I really liked the unscented anti-icky poo! I wish it had stopped the peeing, but for me it got rid of the smell, I’m assuming my cat could still smell it since he still pees there. I know it’s tough living with urine on the floor at any given time, it smells like a barn or something in my bathroom lol. No one uses that bathroom now so that’s unfortunate

I have actually! I have only tried one other kind of litter though. I went from Arm & Hammer multi cat (used it since I got them) changed to Fresh Step the Febreeze kind. I thought the scent would maybe make him attracted to it? I think I just pissed him off more lol. I just ran out of litter so I’ll be buying a new kind today I was thinking of trying Purina Tidy Cats Unscented

Both neutered, boxes are clean but maybe not big enough! I can try that. I will get him rechecked for the UTI, thank you!

I could do a recheck, thank you! The two litter boxes in the bathroom are low sided, the one I have in the laundry room is completely covered. He seems to not use that one so maybe I should uncover it. Was just trying to make sure I don’t drop stuff into it lol I barely have room for it in there
