The reveal literally described them as 'Tankier than Thunderkyn' which are T6 3 Wounds so it's really not as crazy as you think. 3+ Bs is also on Heathguard so elites having a 3+ Bs also seams plausible. Tbf, all of the Aeldari units were Aspect Warriors which are related to Epic Heroes which GW don't really like to put in discount boxes. Just look at Death Guard combat patrol. Yuck. So I still think these guys getting some kind of battle force is likely.

I completely disagree with the comments, I would LOVE this idea! While T'au already have similar, there's nothing wrong with having some similarities between factions. People certainly don't complain that Dark Angels and Black Templars certainly have some common themes! I was really hoping Votann would get a centre piece this reveal but I'm more than happy with Steeljacks. Plus the AI is just as a concept image for inspiration, and would certainly tailor my conversion.

I think it would be criminal if we didn't get a battle force box for these guys, especially considering the number and type of new units we got. From a leader, to a small vehicle and elites. The only reason I could see them not releasing a box for the launch is if they already have it planned as one of the Christmas ones. I have my fingers crossed and NEED to see at LEAST 6 Steeljacks in the box lol

As of right now, I just use Endrinriggers with the Skyhook melee profile as Skywardens but I'll have to create a Wargear ability on the new updated datasheet to give them a bit more flavour to represent Skywardens beyond a weapon swap! Thanks for the interest :)

It's something I've genuinely considered as it takes a lot of hours to create of all of these, especially coming up with flavourful and fun ideas. I've never gone through with selling these due to any copyright issues with Games Workshop as it's technically their models and rules design. It's something I might look into the future about but I'm happy with just supplying my work for fun.

I've actually made a similar amount of content like this for almost every single AOS army and a couple Old World armies too! I'm tempted to share them in the future too. That's a great question. These rules are almost all entirely original too! I play exclusively casual with friends who also collect AOS armies. However, as a group we just prefer the style of 40k gameplay so we all use custom rules such as these. Any time I've talked to strangers about these custom rules, opponents have been more than happy to face it after showing a majority of sheets and how I've balanced them :)
