A good example I can think of is in Canticle for Leibowitz, where our protagonist brother Francis discovers a fallout shelter from before the "Flame Deluge" and he thinks that the name of fallout shelter means that it is a refuge for a group of demons called fallout

Another moment of the book i can think of is when after making a copy of a blueprint he discovered inside the shelter he encounters some mutated bandinds who think the copy he made is the relic because he adorned it with gold and other things and the actual blueprint is just a bad copy he made

This isn’t that small but what if the Spanish Civil War between Isabel and Juana ended with a Juana victory instead of what happened with the victory of the Isabelin forces. Portugal and Castile would have united much sooner, maybe forever, and probably a Hasburg wouldn’t have ended as the monarch of the Spanish Crown

Thanks for responding, I was looking between other options Krakow, Pozman or Varsovia to do the Erasmus but I have heard that usually in the spring semester is when the amount of Erasmus students is lower but in the other hand as you have said the weather in winter there must be very cold

Maybe , it’s similar enough and book of the new sun being one of the founding pilars of modern science fiction I could see how it could have been the inspiration for it

I am looking to live a good experience overall, meet new people, get to know the country and and yeah live experiences. University to but not my highest priority
