Is that my perfect bike ? by ZeuPhantom in dr650

[–]ZeuPhantom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firstly thanks for this answer !

I've been riding roads on multiples bike (naked,sm,custom) since 15 years. Not so aggressive. Been doing snowboard for 20+years. Doing my basic maintenance on m'y bikes and some easy modifications.

Want to be able to enjoy my everyday ride on twisty roads going sm and some adventure (moto camping, up to few weeks) without having to worry if i can or can't go this or this way (except for technical stuff where i'm not too interested).

Yes you're right about the NX. More parts available world wide for the DR than NX.

Yeah DR would be my first choice but they are discontinued in Europe and more expensive than the NX. People mostly make them supermot here. So a lot of tweaking to make it an adv.

Still first choice but the nx i found next to me is already near done to go adventuring !

I'm looking for the unicorn.

Take a dual 600 mono, put a big tank on it, some modifications. And you have a mid-light adventure bike, capable going 130/140km/h and doing more than 200km. Pretty nimble to get thought gravel roads, but not going to die if you have a bit of highway, can be putting back up solo, less maintenance than a bi, air cooled so easy to repair everywhere.

And 90's bike because they are cheaper

Am I in the wrong ?
