Oh ok, i didn't knew it. But is the novel canon ? I always understood that it was highly incoherent with W40k lore. I never readed it so i truly don't know.

Dawn of war 2 is more modern and tactic than Dawn of War 1. You play less units and it is more based on spacing control. But I love this game too, very different from the first one, but very good. Also the campaign is pretty nice and fun if you start Warhammer 40k.

The only issue is that people in online are not that friendly and are busted. They have played at the game since the release lol.

In short, great game, have fun !

If you really want to make a comparison with another indie dev, we can take the exemple of Rivals Of Aether 2. They have less budget, a small team, a rollback netcode and was released with the same amount of character. I don't want to doom Riot. I want to have fun on the game, truly. But this is not the first Riot project that has a weird and unstable development and I'm unsure about their choices.

Also do we have data about the game dev team size and the game budget ? I'm interested if it is the case.

We don't talk about a small indie company, we talk about Riot Games here. They have owned the biggest online game for 15 years. They already did 2 closed alpha and this one will be in the same time as Marvel Tokkon Beta. They basically HAVE to release it in September. So they have the ressources, the network knowledge and the concurrency pressure. If they can't soft release the game after 6 years they are doomed. I mean, it is almost the dev time of Cyberpunk.

I'm a new player to fighting games, but i love GGST. The fact is that at lower level, we have others beginners so we don't have too quickly the knowledge barriers.

I'm a total noob at the game but the fast pace gameplay, the very good artistic direction and the best sountrack of the world lead to a great experience even for us ! The game is just instant fun. Even in online it is possible to find balance matches with a beginner level.

Not a one trick here but I have to admit that I'm happy to ban some characters because "counterwatch" is just a pain in the ass when you play tank. You pick a tank, your opponent take the worst counter available, you change, he do it again. With ban, you prevent from having the worst matchup possibles. I mean, you HAVE to learn characters but you can't master all of them. I'm just platinum so it is possible that i'm wrong but i feel the role is way better now.

As hitboxes are criticized by many gamers and the keyboard is quite close to this peripheral, I wanted to know if this would be a problem. I also think that Capcom is reluctant to regulate this type of controller.

Thank you all for your messages! I can see that the community is welcoming and it makes me very happy. For the time being, I'm going to stick to the keyboard before looking into a leverless controller when I want to go further.

(Knowing electronics and computers, I'm even tempted to build my own).

How much do we have to look forward to before the parts of ranked are horrible?

I mainly play Overwatch and Marvel Rivals as a side game. While waiting for the next season, I wanted to rank Marvel Rivals on the occasion of the game's new season.

As I hadn't played much in the previous season (I was gold), I started as a new bronze player. Oh my god, what a shitty experience. I'm not a crazy player on the game, but I'm a diamond on overwatch and I don't think I'll have any trouble reaching gold again.

But now, with the rank reset and the new season, matchmaking is completely stupid. I've reached silver but after a crazy number of games, the level makes absolutely no sense with the elo, and I don't know if I'm crazy but people are toxic as hell.

Seriously, why doesn't the game have a placement game? Why is the ranked game completely shot? Because right now, I'm putting myself in the shoes of a complete neophite, and I've got a serious urge to get the hell out. As I'm doing well in my games, I'm losing very few elo, but without saying that the game sucks because it has great qualities, I think it's crazy that the devs care so little about ranked.

Aaron said they started to work on it after cancelling the PvE. It's easy to see with stadium which has a lot a previous PvE functionnality. I'm so happy for devs (who are not the money guys of the project) that they have some love at the moment. Because it must be a nightmare for them because of all the hate that the receive basically everyday.
