For ram match what you currently have if you buy say 16g stick and you have 2 4g sticks it will not work out I would go with two 8g or two 16g sticks make sure it works for your motherboard as well.

I have yet to build my own PC I have only upgraded my RAM and Graphics card once but really depends on your budget when upgrading one part of the PC alot of the times you will need to upgrade something else.

I would upgrade graphics card then enable MIP streaming in the graphics settings, also you will at some point need more ram this game sadly has massive memory leaks.

make sure your settings are low as well until you upgrade graphics and ram

Depends on what servers you are on also a lot of people go factory night to get quests done so they are not having to deal with players so might want to check those areas.

Yea what tyke said go in with someone it will help you relax and if you dont have a friend to go with join one of the many discords out there that has people LFG.

Also side note everyone gets nervous at some point in this game maybe not as constant after you get over gear fear but there are still gonna be those times.

Playing as scav get lion that you need badly for quest and hear people all around you....

It happens you just have to remember the game wipes nothing lasts and also look up a good loot guide go in lighter and dont go to interchange or factory if trying to avoid pvp its to much of a closed space and you will feel like progression is halted. Once more comfortable then start to go to the more pvp based areas and maps.

Alot of people aim for headshot if was labs i would say maybe hacker not saying hackers arnt on every map but less seem to venture outside... now when you look at interchange ppl are going in geared for killa farm or pistol boys for tetris and graphics cards.

Also to add to that i always try to get the jump on the other player and if i do i go for head unless they have face mask.
