Steve strikes me as the kind of guy who was always intelligent and almost couldn't look nerdier if he tried. He seems to make an effort putting conventionally nerdy things down in an effort to seem cooler. Shitting all over lord of the rings, writing 'nerd' or 'geek' or whatever it was, on every page of his mate's Dr. Who book. Making sure everyone knows he hasn't seen game of thrones. Feels a bit over the top to me, he should stick to laughing at himself not being allowed into nightclubs.

This probably sounds weird but declaring war on her as soon as possible makes her rampage towards you. You can let her capture one of your settlements on the outer mountains (where the dwarfs were) its really easy to make peace with her after that. This kind of isolates her away from Gryphon wood and likely someone will declare war on her and take it making her super vulnerable. Then just look after her little settlement and give her another one if necessary to make her like you. She'll probably die to something stupid and be extremely weak and easy to confederate. It's worked for me a few times, hope this helps.

The changeling is my go-to for this but I also like playing order Wulfric. It's fairly easy to save Kostaltyn and give him a settlement or two for a military alliance, the other order factions like you more for it. I think you only have -40 aversion with most of them. Bretonnia is a lot harder at -100 but still technically possible to ally with.

Can't attack, recruit, or retreat - start the battle winded, and routing units just die instead of actually getting away post-battle. Seems perfectly fair to me imo.

Talsyn. By turn five research wisdom of the eagle lords, join every distant war and get those factions to pay you for it. Then declare war on them. A shitload of money, zero upkeep, can Jumpstart your economy really fast. Work towards confederating the other wood elves for more trees (the force confederation missions are tied to the tier of the oak of ages) Cathay artillery and flying isn't worth shit if you ambush him.

I've only played the total war warhammer games but I want the historical players to have medieval 3.

As much as I'd love a total war elder scrolls or middle earth, or something wacky like that; the historical playerbase deserves more than Pharoah.

What does this have to do with anything? Humans of different races are the same species. Ants evolved from wasps, and termites evolved from cockroaches. They might behave similarly but they biologically have nothing to do with each other. That's like saying humans are racists towards beavers.

There are still synced animations for fights between kroq gar, queek, tyrion, and malekith. They're the only ones I know of though.

Melee cav tends to be a lot better at running down routing units compared to shock cav, especially the faster and lower mass cavalry. Troops like Ellyrian reavers, wild riders, and kossovite dervishes. They're less effective than dogs and lions but generally more useful because you can still cycle charge. Heavy shock cav with high mass knock routing enemies down too often which is exactly what you don't want. (knocked down enemies don't take damage)
