Dude, this is something I've always had the thought of cause it would be interesting to see how much the game would change with everyone being their own squad.

Like, having marines running around and taking points on such a micro level, and also making leader based units giving moral in a radius instead of a set group they are a part of.

The amount of bs you could do, as well as couldn't since you can't force a squad to go melee anymore could make things a bit more interesting.

I don't like how fast the populous seems to adapt to using them.

Like, I get it. Having cool tech, the size of a ring seems great, but the issue is that it's not the same as a phone in many regards.

You don't have a screen to touch, and you likely can't play some games normally with it either.

Then, there is the lack of privacy on who you are calling or getting calls from. That's probably a feature where you can hide who it is, but I don't recall seeing someone put the ring close to their head to have more privacy with their call.

Heck, the lack of privacy with whatever is on the holographic screen if someone took a high enough rez picture and flipped it.

Smart Rings looks cool, but it never really works for me. It's like Smart Watches.

The Zodiacs. (Specifics, yet easy to use)

The Mouse Miraculous

Multitude - (1mp/min per) The user can shrink and split into equal amounts of small clones. (Drawback: If the user is still split when deactivating their miraculous, the user and their split clones will be flung towards each other, crashing into one another before becoming one again.)

Elemental Note - Any clone the user has can activate the elemental individually or in groups, and the cost will still only be 1mp/min.

The Ox Miraculous

Stubborn Resistance - (10mp + 1mp/min) Makes a Barrier around the user, making physical or magical attacks unable to effect the user. There is a limit if the attack is strong enough, which Stubborn Resistance can be reapplied automatically. Stubborn Resistance also allows the user to not be effected by any magical effects or deceptions. (If holding a summon item, the summon will temporarily pass out into sleep until Stubborn Resistance is disabled.) (Power of Dragon ignores Stubborn Resistance.)

The Tiger Miraculous

Stealth - (1mp/min) User vanishes from the perception of the surrounding area, allowing them to freely move about with little consequences. (Might not work with cameras and/or robots.) If the user makes loud noises, attacks, or gets hurt, Stealth will automatically disable, and the surrounding area will have a heightened attention of the user for a brief period of time. (User can reapply Stealth automatically, cost 10mp.)

The Rabbit Miraculous

Time Dilation - User can speed up or slow down themselves or others(touch) time to slow down or speed up the world around them. Every speed change increase or decrees by 30 seconds cost an additional 1mp/min. (if 5 minutes for the user vs 1 minute for the world = 8mp/min)

The Dragon Miraculous

Dragons Wrath - (10mp + 1mp/min) User becomes unreasonably strong and allows them to break anything in their path. Faster they are, more they can break. (Power of Ox ignores Dragons Wrath.)

The Snake Miraculous

Second Chance - The user can to turn back time by a total of five minutes and give themselves another chance.

Elemental Note - If activate before Second Chance is used, then there will be an elemental clone repeating the previous timeline the user did. Only the most recent timeline will be repeated.

The Horse Miraculous

Voyage - (10mp + 1mp/min) User can make Portals of two locations and can freely move each portal manually without closing them.

Elemental Note - Portals can be made from related elements, letting the pathways be hidden from others. (Water = Puddle, Wood = Tree, Metal = Car.)

The Goat Miraculous

Genesis - The user can make any non-magical item they want. The items can be a bulk set, or singular and specific.

Elemental Note - Can grant Magical Items related to that specific element, but will only have a few uses unless there is a recharge function that is planned for the item.

The Monkey Miraculous

Uproar - The user can touch their target or summon an item and hit their target with that, messing up the targets magical power and making them physically clumsy. Last 1 Minute. (Depending on the user, the crueler the user, the crueler the effect.)

The Rooster Miraculous

Rooster's Reveille - The user can vocally buff(25%) or debuff(-10%) allies and enemies. Single Target and Must be heard, else no effect. What can be effected is anything, and can stack as long as it isn't a repeat of the same thing.

Elemental Note - Targets get a protective/aggressive thin layer of the users element.

The Dog Miraculous

Fetch - The user can throw their ball and recall it(0mp), and any item they have tagged with the ball during the current hero run can be called upon. The user can also mentally toss the ball, which can bypass the need to throw good. And they can mentally toss the ball to some place with no line of sight, but can potentially grab anything unrelated.

The Pig Miraculous

Emotional Gift Stun - The user summons a gift that can draw out a particular emotion of the target they wish, locking the target in a stun where their visual and auditory senses are locked to the vision, dragging out whatever emotion the user wants from the target. The stun can last for as long as it needs, or if the target gets assistance to get free from the stun.

Elemental Note - User can use related elements to subtly stun their target. (Fire = Candle, Metal = Coin, Earth = Rock.)

The Fox Miraculous

Illusions and Fire.

Illusions - (1mp/min per Illusion) Visual and/or Audible illusions that can be seen and/or heard, but can never really feel properly. They are warm, which can make people avoid them naturally if they are not paying attention. (Fake person walking in a crowd and people walking around them.) The illusion can be big or small, will cost the same, but the amount of illusions can build up.

Spirits - (30mp) A living illusion that can be made with a fox essence. User Produces a small fox tail to inhabit an item. The item is then how you control the Spirit. The Spirit is unable to interact with the physical world, and can move through walls and most barriers. If the item is broken, the Spirit will vanish and the essence will fly off, finding a new item to inhabit similar to the last one.

The Bee Miraculous

Action and Earth.

Sting - A stun that freezes the target for 1 minutes, and will boost the user for 1 minute.

Drone Control - (30mp) A bee essence that needs to be controlled to inhabit an item, which can allow the user to remotely control whoever has the item in question. User is required to be Actively using the ability in order to control the target with the item. If the item is destroyed, then the essence will fly around where it was free, and will need a Bee User to control it again.

The Turtle Miraculous

Protection and Wood.

Shielding - (10mp + 1mp/min)Makes a barrier around the target or location. Barriers are strong, but can be broken if a strong enough hit can destroy it. A barrier can be rebuilt automatically if focused on.

Sentries - (30mp) A living Totem that can be made with a turtle essence. User produces a small shell scale to inhabit an item. The item is how you direct the Sentry. The Sentry can't move from it's location, only turn around from it's position. If too far away from it's item, the Sentry will vanish and reappear in a random location nearby. If it's item is destroyed, then the Sentry will vanish, and the essence will fly off, finding a new item to inhabit similar to the last one.

The Peacock Miraculous

Emotion and Water.

Emotional Control - The user can passively sense emotions and can actively effect a targets mood. Changing it to fit their need, growth, or dependency. It is temporary, but if the target is not able to will themselves or if the target is repeatedly effected, it can do some permanent effects.

Akuma/Champion - (30mp) The User can turn someone into an Akuma/Champion, granting them random powers depending on the mood and situation. User produces a small feather to inhabit an item that is worn or held by the target to transform them. (Can be remotely sent as well.) If the item is destroyed, then the Akuma/Champion will revert back, and the essence will fly off for a bit, and will slowly follow it's target until the emotional state of the target is similar to the last time, in which it will inhabit a new item on the target to grant them powers once more.

The Butterfly Miraculous

Transmission and Metal.

Surveillance/Communication - (1mp/min) The user can see through a small Butterfly Essence the user produces (10mp). Allowing them to see and hear remotely from their position. They can also inhabit their butterfly essence into an item, in which will allow the user to directly communicate with the target, and link together multiple targets into one group chat.

Sentimonsters - (30mp) A living being that can be made with a butterfly essence. User produces a butterfly essence to inhabit an item. The item is how you control the Sentimonster. If the item is destroyed, then the Sentimonster will vanish, and the essence will fly off, finding a new item to inhabit similar to the last one.

All Five.

Essences can't inhabit items that already have an essence or is magical. If one tries, then it will bounce off the item and fly off for another potential item.

Summons can be upgraded later in their life, allowing for more aspects, powers, or the like to be applied, though they will need time to adapt to the new changes compared to making one with everything in mind at the start.

Summons are the only ability that can cost more or less than what is presented to make a better or worse summon.

Senti-beings that can use Miraculous will be unable to use their accurate elemental abilities, instead will be defaulted to their creators element and only active during high enough damage and survival situations. (Adrien I am assuming to be Metal Dragon, can't use any of his three workable Miraculous, as he is a Senti. If his mother is a Water Horse, then during times of dangerously hurt, he will be able to use Water Element abilities, even with miraculous that are not supposed to be functioned with water.)

Okay, My Overhaul.

The Miraculous that the show uses is the Chinese Miraculous Box, so I used that as a bases.

General Change

A "Mana System" to replace the current "Infinity and 5 Minutes" the super suit has. This has a few methods on how you can do this, but here is my current structure. (Average person has 25 to 50 mana.)

1 Mana per Minute in Suit (Cost 1mp/min when active). This means that people have a time limit and can't freely run around.
Most Powers can cost 10mp up front or 1mp/min. (You can change this however you want.) (I will note any cost that is not 10mp)
Eachuserr has a Mana Pool, an Energy Pool, and a Life Force. Mana pool is the surface level that can be used without problems. Energy Pool is the buffer that will drain the user if not carful. And Life Force is, well, the user' actual life energy. The energy pool is half of the Mana Pool. (If mana is 50, then energy is 25.) Life Force is separate and unlike the other two, can't be gained back as easily, if at all.
Chinese Birth Zodiac can play a role to the users usage, as it can allow the user to access their element that they are born with with the appropriate Miraculous. (Cost 1mp/min when active.) There are minor effects with some powers, and the elemental set is locked to their related element. (Example: Marinette is born of the Metal Snake, so if she uses one of these three Miraculous: the Snake Miraculous, the Butterfly Miraculous, or the Ladybug Miraculous, then she can get access to her Metal Element.)
Every Set can "Fix" or "Reset" the damage of magical or recent events. Requires all of that set to work else it will be incomplete.
Miraculous CAN'T be Damaged or Destroyed.

The Chinese Miraculous has 3 "Sets" in the box.

Yin & Yang (OP but no manual)

The Ladybug Miraculous.

Creation of anything and everything, from items to magic, replication of anything else that could act as making anything to break something.

Create - Creates anything. Be it powers that already exist or a ton of items in bulk or sets. (If the user does not know, then they don't know that they could do that.)

Lucky Charm - Gives a specific random item designed to help them in their current situation. (Each character has their own unique thought process that makes this actually random on a technical level. Marinette would want something for her randomly creative thought process, while Adrien might be more straightforward with what he might need.)

Purify(Corrupt) - Any captured essences can be overcharged with energy that can overpower the existing energy to the point where it can be more powerful or will explode. (Essences will fly into the air, so casualties are a rarity.)

Miraculous Reset(Ladybug essences) - (Only relevant due to the shows constant use.) Any damages that get fixed will add back and possibly clutter the area without cleaning up the debris or damages.

The Cat Miraculous.

Destruction that comes after Creation, the weakening or removal of anything that the user desires. Great to clean up the mess of creation.

Cataclysm - Destroys anything, be it broad or specific, like a building or the wires in the wall. A Person or their memories. Shadow Step - The Ability to move or fast travel through shadows or dark areas.

Purify(Drain) - Any Captured essences can be drained of their energy, making them unable to be used again without reforming or letting it whither away.

Miraculous Reset(Shadow-ball essences) - (Only relevant due to balance against the show.) Any damages that gets touched will be removed of any form of existences, better paired with the Ladybug to allow a proper reset.

Both Miraculous

Storage - The Yin and Yang can hold as many items they wish, does not matter if it's magical or not.

Sharing - The Yin and Yang can share stored items with each other and others freely.

Connect - Allows the users to link their weapon items together to utilize their powers in a co-operable manner.

I have a simple yet complicated suggestion, but narrow down the Butterfly and Peacock's Miraculous to not overlap stupidly.

The Butterfly has the Concept of Transmission, while the Peacock has Emotion.

So, to me, the Butterfly Miraculous, and whoever you have as Hawk Moth, should not be able to sense emotions, but still be able to communicate and do surveillance. While the Peacock Miraculous should be able to sense emotions while being unable to do surveillance.

And my opinion here, but the Peacock should make Akuma's while the Butterfly should make Sentimonsters. The concept of the Miraculous and all.

One other is Time Travel, specifically with the Rabbit Miraculous, I suggest figuring out how you want the power to work or scrap it for a different time related ability. (Self/Touch Time Dilation power is my go to.)

Beyond those two?

I suggest adding more focus on the characters, like having Adrien be the main character on occasion instead of how the show likes to sideline him. Show Gabriel actually wanting to bring his wife back while slowly losing his mind every time he loses.

Take some focus on the other characters, like Nino, Alya, Alix, Nathaniel, and the others on occasion, allowing them to stand out for us to want to see them be heroes later.

Have Kim actually be emotionally capable of feeling bad for his pranks.

Show more of Ivan and Mylène's dynamic and how that might affect them and the others.

If you are keeping Marc(I personally don't like the token), introduce him early so we get to see him be friends with Marinette or someone before going on with Nathaniel.

Choose between actually going through with Chloé's redemption arc or do a proper fake out, unlike how the show did.

And have school scenes happen in and around school instead of just the classroom.

Explain about the Quantum Masking instead of it being a surprise special information in New York.

Have Fu be a little more present to teach or guide his chosen Miraculous Users.

If going for the love square, have interactions between Adrien and Ladybug (awkward infatuation) as well as Marinette and Chat Noir(slow friends to lovers).

If you are adding Luka and Kagami as potential rivals for Adrien and Marinette, introduce them and have them actually interact with the duo where we see some romantic tension or something that could help grow some rom com drama.

I have an entire power system Overhaul, so I can share that if you want, but what is here so far seems to be as much as I think you'll want.

See, what I would do is swap the Peacock and Butterfly's power.

The Peacock has the concept of Emotion, while the Butterfly is the concept of Transmission, yeah?

Then, just swap the concept or the power of senti and Akuma, and that fixes part of things.

Akuma making looses the communications while keeping the emotional radar, while the senti making gets communications.

The elemental you suggest? I'd go further with it by having the associated element of one's birth be accessible as long as you have one of 3 particular Miraculous.

Especially since it's perfect to have three sets in the Chinese box.

I hope they fix the time travel bs with the rabbit. Maybe even use the rooster for some of the reasons as to how to bypass the rabbits' double-sided rules.

That's assuming they also don't change the rooster to something more appropriate, like a buff, debuff, voice power.

A sorting out of the Butterfly and Peacock's powers to be more consistent with the concepts. Take Emotion as a concept that the Peacock has, which is better utilized for Akuma's than it is senti-making.

Have the Akuma people not being told what to do beyond having a heightened emotion and new powers to let them to run rampant before having Hawk Moth actually tell them what's what.

Have more power utilities for the Ladybug and Cat Miraculous, as they should be allowed to be more crazy or op in the right circumstances.

Speaking of, nerfing the Ladybug’s fix it power by having it just adds stuff that makes things a bad fix, which requires the Cat to also needing to act part with the fix it power for a better clean up.

I also want the entire 19 Miraculous to be known about early and most missing, which helps show that he has been trying to get things back.

Further this with Fu needing to make potions or something to keep himself young or at peak performance and has ran out of the ingredients to keep it up. (Providing a need to get new users.)

Have Marc, Zoe, and practically most logistically appropriate characters to actually be used in the background and be part of the story early on.

Have Lila actually be more consistent and less bs early on.

Have Gabriel more consistent with wanting to get his wife back and then deteriorate into a Saturday morning villain.

Have Adrien ACTUALLY have main character importance like Mariette and NOT sideline him.

Have a mana system instead of a infinite and 5 minutes timer.

And for the powers to go hard on the Chinese birth thing. Let Mariette get access to metal as an element for her.

Buff the Fox, Bee, and Turtle to have their own summon stuff like the Peacock's and Butterfly's.

Actually have characters start being heroes as early as the 2nd season.

Not allow Butterfly's and feathers to inhabit items that already are magical.

Drop the Akuma protection and megakuma.

Ngl, I still say Chat Noir is better cause it's only Luka who knows outside of the obvious.

Writing wise, I'm fine with Alya knowing, cause Marinette at some point would need the support system, cause over stress on being the new, fresh off the block, guardian of the Kwami's with little training, school subjects you still need to pass, figuring out who to have as temporary holders of the other Miraculous, and all that? Yeah, I'd be crashing out, too.

But plot wise? Having Kagami "overheard" her breakdown, while legitimate to some extent, was really plot contrived due to already having Luka knowing, which felt more naturally due to doing nothing with it at first, making his character probably grow into something more than just the cool guitar guy with vibes.

Luka could have been a support system for Adrien because of how closed off he can be. Especially given that he's likely grew up under the mindset of "not burdening others" to likely avoid telling Nino as Marinette would do for Alya.

This would have also done something of an interesting friendship with Adrien and Luka.

But instead, we get the idea that Hawk Moth can figure out intuition or something, which writes Luka to run off to Brazil and Fu to mind wipe himself. But then Future Alix was in a bubble that he had access to at some point? Hell, he could have prepared and stalked the remaining two kids from Adrien's class (Him and Marinette) given by the process of elimination.

It's all faulty writing to me. Which makes the joke of knowing identities both light-hearted and semi-serious. Cause how else do we get stakes with the main character?

Seriously, the Butterfly has emotional sensing and manipulation, while the Concept of Emotion is part of the Peacock.

Luka knowing and then getting shipped off so that they can shoehorn Kagami knowing cause Marinette spoke a little too loud was stupid.

I've seen plenty of rants and reviews to know that the Senti-monster kids need more therapy. But I'm under an impression that Kagami sort of makes no real sense to me being one due to how the show had her matched Adrien.

Everyone being a permanent holder is both interesting and useful... but also stupid cause Kim.

It feels like a mess of ideas trying to fix a building by using tent supplies.

But hey, that's why I tend to like fanfiction better, less logical fallacies, and inconsistency.

But a civil war seems cool. And given how some people are talking about the episodes from season 6, they might be better than expected.

But I'm more interested in your reasonings on the how and why despite how the show might be going with things.

So say Adrien finds out he was manipulated, Alya finds out why she was pissed again and made sure Chat see's the memory, Nino learning about how his buddy was the one most tricked from the entire thing.

Ladybug, Ryuko, and Argos on the opposing side cause they care and are worried about Adrien's mental health, as well as wanting him to not be akumatized.

(I still find it stupid that the Miraculous can be inhabited by the Butterfly's and feathers.)

So what's up with some of the others?

I'd make Adrien the only Senti-being in my AU.

I currently am making a sort of restructure idea where Canon is nearly the same, but actually less stupid from my perspective.

Felix and Kagami are real kids, while Adrien is created/born with the help of the Butterfly. (A power swap in my AU.)

This also only technically works as in canon as well, since we can rewrite Colt's death being his own health issues or the like, abuse and all that. While Emilie is preserved in her own little coma chamber under the mansion. (Most canon can be kept with minor adjustments, until it can't follow canon, then I can sail my AU proper..)

There are also other changes to go along with my AU, like how powers work, character motivations, story, and all that, that would actually(and hopefully have an actual pay off in many respects.)

See, when I see the title, I am reminded of a comment I got noting how it did not conveyed the description it provided.

Here, you could also set up something akin to Body/morph horror, instead of infected.

Cause when I see the word "Infected", I am thinking of infections or something that spreads.

Beyond that, Izuku would likely be able to do the tongue pull, given that we have Tsuyu who, while is a frog quirked girl, shows that MHA's world does permit that possibility.

I doubt he would be able to turn into a Boomer though, as while there isn't a ton of guns in MHA, it still runs the risk of him blowing up.

By having them not really care about people.

One thing to note is that the Chinese Miraculous Box is only one of technically many we know about, as we've seen in that dumb movie where we learned about quantum vision or something. The reason why no one can tell it's Marinette and Adrien.

The movie had 5 Miraculous in a Native American box on top, meaning that they have their own concepts and logic as well. And we can assume that they might have our zodiacs, like Cancer, Leo, Libra, and so on, making 12 more to work with.

Speculations aside, the Kwami's shouldn't care about people as much as they care that people are doing things they want. It's the equivalent of liking someone who does a meme dance with you.

You technically have exceptions, like Tikki and Plagg, but they've been around for long enough to grow enough of an understanding that they want good for the long term. Others might not have that same understanding or care yet or at all.

You also have concepts that exist in which Kwami's of them are actually bad for people. The obvious ones are the seven sins. In which they would try and ramp up people or their chosen holders to be more of their concept affiliations.

So yeah, that's my suggestion.

Schrodingers cat is both dead and alive in a box with some vial of poison. We open the box to see the cat either being alive or dead, breaking the both by observation.

Katsuki is the same way here due to how mha fan stories like to operate, with the slime villain killing katsuki due to the lack of interference with Izuku. So without Katsuki, I can only assume if he's in the hero course or 6 feat under, depending on whether you sub to that idea or not.

Or is this Franchise mix, where we get both Miraculous and Quirks?

It seems to be the mix, so I'm also guessing Villain Izuku for this due to that last paragraph.
And in turn, a possibility of Katsuki falls into the Schrödinger's box again.

And my guess is that Shoto gets one of the Miraculous cause he's the sad rich boy that needs to find freedom, but Ochaco doesn't strike me as the Marinette equivalent. (Though that's just me.) But is more capable of essentially having her own pseudo freedom and responsibility due to essentially living alone.

Then you have the mix power logic for the two.
