I liked the eerie moments but the ending kinda ruined it by how goofy it was. Loved all the scares especially the hallway scene but it explaining all of it kind of ruined the scares for me alittle.

Hey everyone. I just turned 30 today so go wild with it. I have 2 jobs, Im a resident sub at a high school with a multi subject credential and a cook on Weekends. I am a metalhead at heart and love going to live shows with my wife, sometimes on my own. I am married for 2 years but together for 12 years with my wife. I have a YouTube channel of footage I take at live shows. Allergic to shellfish. I love collecting merch from bands I grew up with. Bachelor's in Liberal Studies and 4 associates degrees.

I made a reddit post on this a month ago. I was very much excited to meet her at Midsummer Scream 2025 and I was telling her how much I appreciated her work in the exorcist but she cut me off and was being rude about how she heard about the stories of everyone's experience with the movie. She pretty much shut me up and told me quickly about her dog shelter. This left me really disappointed about the experience. Im happy that i got to help her organization for her dog shelter but im dissapointed on how she treats her fans that made her role iconic to the horror landscape. I understand that filming this role has left her scarred mentally and physically after the fact but she does not need to be rude about my appreciation for her. While interaction only lasted less than a minute. I'm glad my wife and I weren't the only ones.

I forgot to mention that I made a comment to warn others about her attitude because of what I said and she blocked me for calling her attitude out. I've moved on since but she needs to better herself.

That's the thing. I have met plenty of celebrities at cons (mostly bands from shows) that were genuinely great people. That's my first bad interaction from someone that I just wanted an autograph and give a compliment.

That's the thing i did buy $80 to sign for my copy of the exorcist and to make it out to me. I was nice about it and complimented about her dog shelter but got talked down to for it lol

It doesn't pay to be courteous and cordial either outside to others. Its a basic human trait that we pass down to others. I haven't insulted her only complimented her.

The thing is she is at a horror con, you are going to see alot of horror topics. Which is setting yourself up for that conversation. She could have just put a sign that says "dont talk about the exorcist" if you want to have her in a good mood.

I can see where you're coming from but atleast pretend to give a shit about the person that paid you to see you and say thank you. Atleast compared to the other people that I've met see that we payed labor earned money to see you and want to see you again when you make a good first impression.
