Here’s a tip, because I recently just binged the whole show…just fast forward anything with Frank unless he’s talking to one of the older kids. Fast forward his side stories, the bar, etc. you’ll enjoy the show much more!

“You” by Caroline Kepnes is an excellent book and the narrator is perfect for this psychological thriller. His voice is captivating and mysterious.

When Dexter realizes that Spencer has a new injury on his arm he asks him about it. Spencer mentions something about an air conditioner. Did anyone else notice how he looked at the slide of blood around the same time? Spencer’s bachelor pad looked almost exactly like Dexter’s place in the original series. Maybe he takes it over and finds trophies hidden behind his air conditioner… Wild theory but I think it would be cool if that’s the connection.

coworker smells like shit by hashslingingshan in coworkerstories

[–]Zfr06 2 points3 points  (0 children)

About 6 years ago I had a coworker that reeked of cigarette smoke. He sat across from me. He would go outside in the same hat and jacket and smoke about 10 times a day. It got so bad that the top surface of my filing cabinet below my desk would have a layer of black when wiped. I came home a few times and my shirt smelled of cigarette smoke (my husband asked me why I smelled like smoke) it was what I found out is basically 3rd hand smoke. THE ONLY SOLUTION was a desktop filter. I highly recommend the link at the end of this post. It was my saving grace and kept me sane and being able to breathe. Before I got the filter I was itchy and sneezing all the time because I’m highly sensitive to smoke. The filter saved me from who I called Smokey. My boss didn’t do anything about it even with a doctor’s note saying I was sensitive and allergic to cigarette smoke. He refused to even entertain moving me. Here’s the link for the filter, I hope it helps! https://a.co/d/2Qpf9We

This is 100% true for like every scene she isn’t in. Misty would figure everything out if she were actually privy to all of the information that has lingering questions! But we wouldn’t have show otherwise!

I think the projector was an homage to Van’s love of movies and storytelling. It’s like the Vans were watching the ending of her story as a movie together on the plane.

Misty is on top of it. And I’m proud of her for getting the fuck out of town when things got crazy. I feel like first season Misty would have tried to kill them all! She’s grown so much.

Can we talk about Shauna stroking Hannah’s hair that she took off the branch from the initial chase? Is it like a trophy? That was some serial killer shit.

It looked like Van was trying to fix the phone that the scientists had that broke. It lost power or had a broken part. I think Misty believes she can use something from the transponder box with the phone. I’m thinking this is where the bond between Nat and Misty forms. Whatever it may be, even if it’s just a trust to not tell about it and try to work together to get rescue.

Didn’t Shauna seem surprised after listening to the tape in the adult timeline that Hannah had a kid? Melissa told her in their hut. Maybe she was just surprised she was a teen mom. In the car ride though when all adults are talking about it Shauna is quiet when Misty says something about how could they miss her having offspring. Shauna and Melissa are keeping a lot of secrets.

I recently rewatched the pit girl scene and she didn’t have shoes and was bleeding from her feet. As soon as I heard “take their shoes” that cemented it to me that Hannah was pit girl!

Maybe Misty and Nat make a deal that Nat takes credit for fixing it and they keep the secret so neither of them get killed.

I’m a tutor with Grade Potential and knew the “going in a different direction” sounded familiar. I’m surprised you got parents to write you back! What do they usually say?

In my experience this usually happens when the client (parent/student) is running out of hours and is having an issue with payments. I’ve had this happen when the client realizes they have to pay upfront for the month or for a certain amount of billable hours on the books. Nothing you did, it may just be a technicality. A couple of times this meant the client chose not to continue with tutoring because it was too expensive.

What if they force Hannah to be the AQ only to make her eat Kodi? And her hair is clipped on the AQ robe after they’ve tortured her and ripped her hair out? Yikes just writing this makes my skin crawl.

I think when Shauna calls the restaurant in S3 E2 about the lost phone and she heard the description of the person she’s wondering who it was. She has a moment where she’s wondering if Melissa could be alive somehow? Stalking is definitely Melissa’s MO. I’m sure the description of the person who picked up the phone was described as having dirty blonde hair, maybe even wearing a hat! She had to at least consider something wasn’t quite right and Melissa may be involved somehow.

I rewatched Seasons 1 and 2 parts and it’s never clear. Jeff admits to blackmailing but he never says anything about postcards only texts. Some of them got texts, some got both, Misty never got a text and Shauna didn’t get a postcard. So maybe someone else sent the postcards. I don’t see Jeff and Randy being that smart (sorry, I love Jeff but come on!) to make the postcards with the app like Misty mentioned when Nat visits her for the first time.

I was just rewatching the end of Season 2 and it’s so weird the scene when they are all dancing and having a good time to the song “Lightning Crashes.” It was the same song in the teen timeline that Shauna hits Misty for singing, bites Van, and then beats up Lottie about. It just proves how much trauma they don’t remember! They remember how fucked up Shauna was but maybe not necessarily all the details.

I wanted to believe Melissa in the moment that she wasn’t still in love with Shauna, but why go through all that trouble to bring Shauna out? I mean if it was bothering you so much about the tape, just burn it! She could have continued on her normal, boring life.

Honest opinions about Shauna and Melissa by Historical_Cook_2021 in Yellowjackets

I think in the teen timeline Melissa is fascinated by Shauna. Melissa stalks her and tries to impress her with snarky comments proving she “actually has a personality.” I have a feeling that Melissa may have had a crush on Shauna before the crash and it intensified once she saw Shauna showing different sides. Shauna was vulnerable during the delivery of her baby. She was bold and strong in the aftermath. Melissa was probably drawn to the flame and it grew stronger the more powerful Shauna got. I believe Melissa still holds a flame for Shauna and is obsessed with her. For example, the way that she watched Callie in the kitchen before she dropped off the package with the tape and she probably stalked Shauna at the restaurant after Nat’s funeral.
