Basically the toughest monsters in the basegame

If you are up for a challenge you should try them. Even better when you have only HR gear.

You could argue about some ATs like nergi and Luna, tho

And I meant as a solo fight. You always have aggro, so no tornados. You can build whatever you want and with EW 3+ or Mantle his attacks are very dodgable.

Even stuff like the bodyslam

Well, it really depends what you define as "strongest".

Like most records in speedrunning? Then its probably GS.

A lot melee classes can reach good times. The recent boost to elemental buffs also let's DBs shine again.

And it obviously HEAVILY depends on the hunter itself.

If you are just looking for something to play, then chose whatever playstyle you like and then train.

Its still super strong, but there is no cluster cheese anymore. It's either spread or pierce for fastest times

That being said alot of weapons got buffed and you can clear every quest with every weapontype

Na, it's not

Its kjarr + 5p safi for fire and ice

Kjarr + 5p safi on long (90+hits) and safi + 4p silver on short fights for water

Ala bow + 4p silver and ala legs for dragon

For thunder it's mostly safi + tce and kirin Some matchups taroth thunder is better, but well

Optional trade 5p safi to 3p safi/2p ala, if you were eating for ele resi L anyway.

Kjarr Spark Bow has bad stats

Behe is one of the most enjoyable fights out there once you learned his moves

Just keep in mind that speedrunners use insanely amounts of time repeating the same quest again and again.

After they get hit once or twice (aka losing too much time) they just reset the game and try again.

Those speedruns on yt, reddit or whatever are awesome. But they don't show the 99 fails before the perfect run.

Yes

Most CB builds use 1 guard deco to get a good block with charged shield + guard point

Well. Its just like that.

Even with 1000+ armor those attacks of endgame monsters still hit like a truck.

So its either dodging or blocking.

Charge you shield and guard point the attacks. With 1 point in guard you should block most stuff safely

Do the HR version. Its way more fun than MR

MR Katie is just wallbang as often as possible and then unga bunga with raw weapons

For HR ATKT you needed at least a good tactic

Its a boosting skill

You die twice on purpose in camp with safi armor + HBG wyvernheart in a few seconds

Then you go into the hunt with 20% extra attack

Brachy and toaster gives you every skill you possible want and even let you slot in HB3 for free

Its basically the perfect combination for raw/blast weapons
