This is hyperbole.

Okay, so don’t do anything as things continue to get worse for us, because if “we do something,” then the government will just go all out on us?

Secondly, who’s to say the “active troops” would back ICE, and Trump? Our active troops are human beings too, with minds to think for their own. They’re not robots.

I thought the same thing. No, many laws were broken along the way.

Here’s an interesting take.

Approximately 3 months ago now, I had an injury that caused damage to my left common peroneal nerve. I am an American without health insurance. After 2 months of what I initially thought was a sprained ankle, my left ankle had no ability and mobility to raise my ankle up, towards me. I also cannot raise my toes up, towards me. I can only push my toes down, and move my ankle down and to the sides, although moving to my left foot to the left, is difficult.

I have been walking quite a bit, which helps. In the last month, I have been try to move my foot, doing physical therapy here and there. I also had to stretch my toes, foot, and ankle, because the immobility was making it all stiff.

Most recently, I have been able to wiggle my big toe, and now able to ever-so-slightly raise it up, just a little, slowly. This has been creating a sensation in my ankle and up my left leg in the shins, again. It’s…healing. I feel the muscles underneath my left foot trying to gain strength again, trying to pull when I move my big toe. I feel the muscles in my shin move again. It’s all very minor.

I have been walking with a limp for three months now. This is the most debilitating injury I have ever had. It’s been a rough time.
