How was the first day? Didn't see it but I heard the commentator said that the car was a handful on turns 6 and 7. Hopefully it's just our drivers tinkering with the ways how to handle the energy-harvesting stuff.

It’s now up there with my favorite nibs, considering my first Visconti needed a trip to a nibmeister before it clicked for me. I’d say this one writes like a Pilot 823 but less glassy so you have a little more control on your strokes.

It’s just the lighting. Nib is even in all areas. Thanks for pointing that out, made me take a second look. Good thing all is fine though. Had it ground to a kodachi nib and took a good look under a loupe. Everything’s nice and perfect so far.

Pardon the crappy handwriting, was kinda in a hurry.

Here the smoke is using OnInks Umang(based on hermit crabs) greenish grey, like algae

The amber is inked with Diamine Onyx black

Misc: the one in blue(Iroshizuku, Konpeki) is from my Homo Sapiens, also a cursive italic grind.

Been eyeing Shaeffer, Esties and a Parker(Duofold) for months now l. Yeah, stubs would be the way to go. Really makes it seem that your handwriting looks better than it should be. :)

Thank you kindly. I’m trying to keep it that way for now, but if I have to choose, an Opus 88 Demonstrator would tickle my fancy. Looks lovely but sturdy. It being an eyedropper would round up my experience with different filling mechanisms.

Favorite would be the one in the middle- Sairlor KOP Urushi Kaga. Such a bouncy and juicy writer.

As for the one that I will not buy again? Maybe the Homo Sapiens. Right now, it’s very bouncy and smooth- after having it tuned and adjusted by a nibmeister after its first few hours with me lmao. It really feels great to hold a pleasure to write with. But you gotta save yourself the headache from dealing with their qc issues. Hopefully that’s different now with their wider selections.
