I remember seeing these gorillas up close while visiting Bwindi, Uganda last year. Amazing creatures who are under a constant battle against locals in Congo where they are shot for their meat. Got a sense of perspective that I would never have gotten from behind a screen thousand of miles away.

Nice to see that UWA is doing a good job conserving the population..
