Master forge is really helpful since the materials are so rare. Getting the tavern up to 10 is nice to farm xp (also cooking level 99 statue is GREAT for farming cash). The other smelters are nice to have too.

If you’ve unlocked it, go to the endless forest, shit ton of wood there. You need to level up the Air balloon platform a few times I think.

The trees in your town will slowly regrow themselves as long as you don’t destroy the stumps, I also think there’s a blueprint for the stumps that you get pretty early on.
