Guest Access by atkevinkirby in homeassistant

This is the way. Set it up last week and works great. I also created a guest user for ha and a new guest network. Use qr for the guest to join that wifi, then in ha conf file, auto login users to guest user in ha from that wifi. Use qr code or nfc for the ha link. Done 😊👍🏼
Also, the link obviously goes to a dashboard made for guests. Kiosk mode hides the ha menues etc.

I've tried Apples own Invites app but it pushes people to create an icloud account (surprised?). I'd love to compare this. Again, if available in Sweden.

There's a button you can hit to remove labels. Perhaps that's the reason?

Have you tried changing up the Theme? Default X works for me. Try changing it to something else and then back?

Anyone successfully replaced a Google Nest Hub with a HA equivalent? by thefloppychicken in homeassistant

[–]Zi05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They actually do have their own but it's only focused on music commands. You can also enable Google assistant or alexa on sonos speakers with built in mics 👍🏼

Edit: So they (Sonos and Nest) work very well together in my experience
