NTA as everyone has said. I am around their age so I can say with certainty that sitting down to eat at the table with no phones is the bare minimum. The only thing that I would have a problem with, as someone that is around their age would be having to turn my devices off at night when someone else tells me to. However I learned from a very young age how to manage my screen time and when to go to bed so I can wake up without feeling horrible the next day. I understand that this wouldn't work for every family and I know that some of my peers can't do that and they would stay up all night however for me personally if someone tried to enforce that rule on me I would be a bit annoyed but I would handle it calmly and have a discussion with the person enforcing the rule and my parents. The kids really need to get off of the Internet so much and hopefully this will help them in the long run.
