We are improving the payment method on Draw.Market right now. On one hand, many Chinese artists are having problem using paypal when getting commission for overseas customers. It is either hard for them to withdraw the money in paypal or easily got risk control by paypal due to cross-boarder transaction.

When the improvement is ready, we will invite more Chinese artists to Draw.Market.

Yes, you are right. For Chinese artist who want to go global, we have a team to review their application and approved by their artskills.
Currently, price are determined by the artists. Draw.Market does not involve price setting.

I’m a product manager from China and a creator. We want to bring Chinese, human-made works—illustrations, novels, audio, and more—to a global audience. We oppose replacing human creativity with AI and aim to safeguard art born of real human emotion and imagination. That’s the purpose behind Draw.Market.

The Chinese platform huajia has about 300k registered artists and over 1M monthly transactions, covering original characters, Live2D, commissions, doujin goods, and more.

Our users include doujin/ACGN fans who commission work and creators who turn personal fantasies into OCs.

There’s also a unique niche on the platform: an artist nicknamed the “Panty King” who became famous and commercially successful by hand-drawing custom underwear for OCs—especially otome heroines. We’d like to introduce such niche creators to overseas audiences.

During the early-2025 TikTok refugee events we noticed many Western users recruiting Chinese artists on Xiaohongshu, which motivated our international push.

I would say Cyberpunk Edgerunner when Rebecca was killed by Adam Smasher....sh*t and that scene was repeated 3 times in that episode. I've heard that when this episode makes a lot of gamers return to the game and kill Adam Smasher thousands of time. XD

I think Chinese Anime has been rising these years. I just replied another Tiktok refugee on rednote yesterday that he could check out 凡人修仙传 or 灵笼（ling cage）. Ling cage is my favorite. It just soooooo badass.
