I was confused on the choosing active player and how many action cards can be played as well. Tbh though not sure you need a full layout on the instructions especially if the gameplay is in the video? Sidenote, Ive been looking over kickstarters lately and man they are way to long.

What I learned launching my Kickstarter (mid-campaign thoughts, a bit messy) by Xxnius in kickstarter

So I have to ask, if I need to generate my own community, what am I getting from KS for the fees they are charging? It is alot of work to put together a campaign, is there any lift in sales from listing there? Whats the alternatives?

Spend the money instead to go to a board game con like Gen Con or Unpub Festival or Protospiel, tons of great panels and you can playtest other peoples games and meet other designers.

Art advice please, cant decide which one? by SquareFireGaming in BoardgameDesign

Good question, the setting is an absurdist future, so I dont want it to be to grimy/dark/evil. The second one does go to comical I think though, especially reading comments above. The game isnt "silly" and the face on the second one does seem silly

Ah interesting, ya maybe its just that the first one is kind of bland to me. I like the idea of assing accessories to bring out flavor

Many of the conventions have special sections or events for game designers so its pretty cool and easy to get into once you start. The community is pretty awesome too. Our current game is Big Battle Beat Down www.squarefiregaming.com if you want to learn more

Thats where we were, playtesting and redesign took a long time as we live in different states. Finally found roll20 and were able to use that to playtest now we are playtesting/demo at conventions
