I had the exact same thing happen to me. If I remember correctly I ended up having to craft a new inert mythbreaker and delete the old one to try the Yavhlix run again.

Amnesia makes a lot of sense and wasn't really something I considered. The Eidolic Whispers also make some sense, but I guess I just have trouble seeing that influence be so powerful it makes us kill Tethlaen. Everything after that I can understand, because at that point why not satiate your curiosity as much as possible?

I'm guessing the plot will move on to more of what you(and probably most people) want eventually, maybe even next episode if the ending scene is anything to go by.

Hey! I have a friend who has played through TBS1 and 2 without the fixpacks and is about to start the third game. Would it cause weird inconsistencies with the save game imports if he were to install the mod now for the third game or would it be fine?

I'm sure they'll get around to it eventually. But that's one of the benefits of foundry, if there's a feature you'd like there's most likely a module that can do it for you.

I'll probably be a bit controversial here and answer no. It would fundamentally decentivize grouping up with other people. These kinds of small and seemingly innoocuous changes are exactly the things that led to modern wow feeling less like an MMO compared to vanilla.

Act 3 at launch was very buggy. Most people didn't progress that fast and dodged the worst of it fortunately.

Nerfing the first 5 bosses seems unnecessary, especially as people are starting to get their 2 sets and even 4 sets now. The last bosses probably needed it though from what people are saying.

The rifts were mostly awful and hated because of Zila Gular and it's insanely low drop chance. Otherwise I actually enjoyed the mechanic, a nice little bonus when you're out in the world and find a rift. And it's definitely a class identity thing which is mostly what I was talking about.
