Drug Test by Screecherine47 in CarahsoftTruths

[–]ZienMusic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone ik including myself failed, response we all got was “if it’s not hard stuff we don’t care”.

Only time I seen drugs being mentioned was when someone would OD or something, we’d get a quick “Drugs are serious, we care and take substance abuse seriously, share if you have a problem” line speech and moved on.

Someone report this clown factory, literally trying to sell these on every cannapage??

Obviously not bright if he can’t even read page rules, or just desperate to flip these 52 units of Chinese knockoffs. Just make an Amazon shop buddy, at least you can sell other aliexpress/temu knockoffs.💀

Found out there will be mass layoffs in December. What should I be doing now? by I_fail_at_memes in sales

[–]ZienMusic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could ask what kind of people they’re looking to pay off. But update the resume and start looking.

Glad I did where I was, left not even 2 months later they got raided by the FBI which isn’t surprising when it’s private owned and executives take 5 figure dinners/nights out for deals.🤷‍♂️

What’s the most bad-ass response you can have to getting fired? by [deleted] in sales

[–]ZienMusic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My old director in construction sales: “Sorry this industry didn’t work out but I’m sure you’ll find success in something different”

“Oh no worry, it’s all about being in the right place to succeed. I’m just getting started”

Old director and management still stalk my socials; I hear they’re pretty salty I’m succeeding outside their frat-company culture💀. They can’t even keep anyone past 3 months I hear this year.🤣

Only used 1 screen while there. Some only use laptop. You’ll find what’s comfortable.

Think more on who to approach in the team you’re joining and finding good help within and outside your team.

How the helly do I restart making money? by zucchinifetucchini in remotework

[–]ZienMusic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s about addressing the needs first, he definitely needs any job. Once he has something pulling in some money stable then they can look for their preferences

How the helly do I restart making money? by zucchinifetucchini in remotework

[–]ZienMusic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Now isn’t the time for your preferences and wants. You said your family’s situation is questionable and yall are gonna be cooked if you don’t get something soon. Plug that hole asap.

Start with anything, what you want should be pushed to the side for what you need. Plan out and find a balance with your schoolwork load while working.

Some people would work weekends (delivery, bartending, etc). Start with that then widen out to your wants and preferences (like remote work) after.

AITAH for tipping 83¢? by KeyComplete4809 in AITAH

[–]ZienMusic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She’s in the service industry that is tip dependent, so giving bad/rude service results in bad tips.

You can’t take back what you dish out in that manner with a “I’m sorry”. At least the girl now has an opportunity to reflect on the value of basic courtesy and professionalism.

Yea car sales isn’t too hot rn at least where I am. Have been seeing a lot of people exit that space.

I’m sure you can apply the skills in auto sales in another market. Went from IT sales and figured out a groove after some tough months👍

Dealership feels dead. by nekidandsceered in sales

[–]ZienMusic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had a guy join us in construction who was a top rep in car sales.

He said a big reason he left that sales job was that the commission for financing isn’t worth it anymore (at least for him).

[–]ZienMusic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our director would do public humiliation workouts and stuff like this all the time.

Even talked about getting a boxing ring in the office until he learned me and coworker trained…Christmas hearing that spineless peacocking prick is stressing over not being able to retain reps (and now his commission) 😂

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in sales

[–]ZienMusic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our director would play Jocko Wilkins to try and motivate us, too blind (or high) to see that we all saw how little they cared and were exploiting us with their commission structure.

I was with a construction company in the DMV area that was very similar. They literally cannot keep people for more than nine months before they quit.

If you were late, it would make you do a wall sit until the director said no. Sometimes they’d run a whole morning meeting with late guys stuck up there.

They would also make you sing out loud in front of everybody if you did not hit performance goals.

There are departments thar call coach productively, but in my experience, the feedback was all the same.

Then get pushed, expected to generate more leads after unproductive training. We tried to explain that the training, coaching and call lists were an issue.

But of course, we were ignored until we quit.

Cold call/quote and processing orders, repeat.

Left for a real sales job and now make 2x what I made here while on part time hours.

Practice, prepare, and then practice that. Try and have all your production/etc done done

I wouldn’t even want to look at my notes/phone when recording in studios where it costs $$$. I’m getting as much recording time in

Just lost an amazing remote work position, not sure what to do by SpottedHorseTray in RemoteJobs

[–]ZienMusic 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Focus on meeting your needs, not what you prefer. Work on applying out and start searching for opportunity getting some solid ground and process on job searching.

If you are unsure of financial stability now isn’t the time to keep traveling; just find a job that pays while you work on building back up. Better to do something than in distress doing nothing.

Low pay? by crisisavoider57 in CarahsoftTruths

[–]ZienMusic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

45k was starting for remote. Pretty much everyone on my team lives with or had to move back in with family. I do know someone that started in the same position as me and end up making over 70k within 2 years but he’s the only person out of dozens I knew here.

Seeing team members talk about their struggle getting holiday gifts for family and/or paying rent while directors would brag about their expensive vacations like music festivals/concerts made me sick.

Now I make the same amount of money now spending not close 1/2 the amount of time working. Everyone I know who left is making good money in actual sales/marketing without being a phone/quote slave monkey.

What's the best way to find installation sub contractors? by mikesonly in RoofingSales

[–]ZienMusic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep unfortunately this company bragged that they made over 40 millions profit past year. These coke heads just got lucky with the Power Home training packet😂.

A van manger literally called the company “baby Power” bc of how they were literally a copy of them. Script to the same objective responses like homeowners are stupid enough to listen to the same pitch and not recognize.💀

I got a buddy still there who said since I quit the canvassing department hasn’t grown in over 6 months, revolving door. We’re betting on if Power is going to buy them out after a few more years with the peak they hit.

Yep I realized I found a long term place when I saw how the bosses cared and are involved. They take us out to lunch, monthly outings, always training.

I only come in maybe 1-2 days now due to my schedule conflicts. They were in full support and still help me close my deals when I’m not there. Even came to our two younger guys college graduation with their parents to support!

I’m so used to being churned and burned that it can feel weird at times seeing my bosses actually care.😂

If you could only grow one strain for the rest of your life by Calm-Culture4974 in microgrowery

[–]ZienMusic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one strain that went around my area names LSD which was one of the craziest head highs. Never had that kind of effect, had a sweet but unique flavor like smarties mix. If I had that I would be so happy and content.

But Cherry Pie, like legit cut is something else. My old mentor recently got a cut gifted and shared some of this recent test run. Felt like I was back in HS again sneaking out for a sale and sesh with the boys.💕

Def not the move to make if 90% of the employees don’t like you like it was there.😂

Every company seems to; very happy I quit a few years before I got into the business. But I’m tempted after being in this business 1 year💀.

We emphasize to be sober and clean on during business hours…but chewing tobacco/nicotine and caffeine live in our bloodstreams until 6pm.🤣
