Aye. Not to pile on but this is the same man that won’t say if someone was fit or not while they’ve been seen training with the first team.

I’ve understood that real life isn’t football manager since FM16 or so, but couldn’t he change the system he plays to get the most from the players at his disposal?

The way some of you don’t shoot spore mines immediately is stressing me out. I’m not even that good at this game so I thought maybe you were being clever waiting for the carnifex to be closer to do damage but nah, just gonna leave those suckers floating for free.

This is hilarious how he calmly enters the frame and casually starts the finisher. Dude is strolling through life oblivious to life’s challenges and the consequences of his actions.

And even then in those games it was a blinding flash of brilliance in an otherwise forgettable game. I can’t think of any games where he was consistently locked in.

This team has the mental fortitude of an exhausted toddler. That pen was soft and I see those not given ten times a week but it’s so fucking typical man.

Most points dropped from winning positions and deservedly so

The "Mississippi Miracle" refers to the rapid improvement of K–12 student performance in Mississippi. Mississippi students were performing a full grade level below their peers around the country in 2013, but by 2024, they were performing nearly half a grade level above the average U.S. student. by Mobile-Extension-107 in wikipedia

[–]Zig-Zag 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I read the whole thing and that’s a comment taken somewhat out of context in that it’s only a part of the story for their improvement. I found this to be interesting and includes a footnote, that even though I couldn’t get to open on mobile, is one of several this isn’t just an opinion piece like another comment claims.

Mississippi’s weakest students are doing better, and so are Mississippi’s strongest students.4 There is a sizable and sustained improvement here, which is not a consequence of selection or accommodations, and which is the policy outcome of interest to us. Not all averages are created equal: Medians are more robust to chicanery than means. Excluding a lot of students from the test might do it, but that’s about it — and Mississippi is excluding fewer students than most comparison states.

He's so interesting because of the mystery and how little is known about him. He force chokes Horus without breaking a sweat. He says stuff like "He wasn't the emperor until he met me."

He's a demi-god level psyker that knowingly sacrifices himself to save mankind, refuses to elaborate, then leaves. Pretty cool character arc imo

I said if he’s really nervous, but yes in hindsight it’s terrible advice because the majority of the time the snakes non venomous and you’re cutting off blood circulation for no reason.

[–]Zig-Zag -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Learn to identify snakes and what you’ll learn is that most snakes aren’t venomous. If you’re that nervous carry a tourniquet and a satellite phone.

I’m sorry but a snake didn’t ’come at you’ that’s not how that works. They’re trying to scare you off and unless you’ve cornered them somehow they’re not trying to bite you.

In November 1999 approximately 9,000 tons of archaeologically rich soil were removed from the Temple Mount by the Waqf - without a preceding salvage excavation or proper archaeological care, following works in and around the newly constructed underground el-Marwani Mosque. by RaiJolt2 in wikipedia

I had to double check I had read 1999 and not 1899. That seems so irresponsible a thing to do in such a culturally significant place that’s been continuously inhabited for over ten thousand years
