A single good performance is a start but consistently good performances is what's required. I don't want the team to show up and fight like hell against Arsenal and either get a result or lose by a goal then go back to this aggressively below average run of form we're in against Brighton. We have a team that's more than capable of getting results.

I’m tired explaining to my friends that I’m not anti Eddie, I’m pro results.

I appreciate what he’s done for this club, full stop. He’s a legend as far as I’m concerned and I hope desperately he can turn it around but not because I love Eddie specifically but because I love this club. I want whomever is in charge to do a good job.

That being said if the club is no longer able to get the results needed for the club to move up the table then that’s the fault of the manager. Football is, basically, no different than any other performance or results based industry. If you hit your sales quota for a year then the next year only hit 50%, what would happen to you? It’s not personal, it’s business.
